This master dissertation discusses and analyses the internal and external factors influencing the work of Šiauliai branch of the State Enterprise Registry Centre, systematizes the Lithuanian and foreign theories about strategic planning, management, introduces the peculiarities of administering and registration of real estate, analyses the documents, presents the strategy of the branch, explicates the significance of human resources. The SWOT analysis have been performed using a questionnaire with the goal to find out the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the enterprise. The results prove the hypothesis that Šiauliai branch of the State Enterprise Registry Centre has such expansion opportunities as high qualification services, staff in-service training and the expansion of material facilities. The research discloses new results: 1. It has analysed the external factors influencing the work of Šiauliai branch. 2. The analysis of the internal factors shows that enterprise pays major attention to the improvement of the staff qualification and service quality. 3.
