La presente investigación tiene como objetivo analizar la relación entre el ajuste diádico, el apego adulto, y la dependencia emocional en adultos de Lima Metropolitana. Para ello, se aplicaron la versión breve de la escala de Ajuste Diádico EAD-13, el Cuestionario de Relación (CR) y el Cuestionario de dependencia emocional (CDE) a un grupo de 172 adultos de 22 a 55 años que residían en Lima y convivían con su pareja, donde 126 fueron mujeres (73.3%) y 46, hombres (26.7%). Los resultados muestran que el ajuste diádico, el modelo de sí mismo y el modelo de los otros, el apego seguro, preocupado y temeroso, y la dependencia emocional se encuentran interrelacionados en las mujeres. Asimismo, en las mujeres se obtuvo que la relación entre la dependencia emocional y el ajuste diádico, depende del modelo de sí mismo del apego. En el grupo de los hombres, únicamente el ajuste diádico y el modelo de sí mismo, así como el apego preocupado y la dependencia emocional presentan relaciones significativas. Adicionalmente, se encontró una relación inversa y significativa entre el nivel de ajuste diádico y el número de hijos y el número de rupturas de la relación de pareja tanto en hombres como en mujeres. Por último, no se obtuvieron diferencias en el ajuste diádico, los estilos de apego y el nivel de dependencia emocional de los participantes según el sexo. / This research aims to analyze the relationship between dyadic adjustment, adult attachment, and emotional dependence in adults in Metropolitan Lima. To do this, the short version of the EAD-13 Dyadic Adjustment Scale, the Relationship Questionnaire (CR) and the Emotional Dependence Questionnaire (CDE) were applied to a sample of 172 adults aged 22 to 55 years old who lived in Lima and with their partner, where 126 were women (73.3%) and 46, men (26.7%). The results show that dyadic adjustment, emotional dependence and adult attachment, the model of the self, the model of others, secure, worried and fearful attachment, and emotional dependence are interrelated in women. Likewise, in women it was obtained that the relationship between emotional dependence and dyadic adjustment depends on the attachment model of the self. In the group of men, only dyadic adjustment and the model of the self, as well as worried attachment and emotional dependence present significant relationships. Additionally, an inverse and significant relationship was found between the level of dyadic adjustment and the number of children and the number of breaks-up in the couple relationship in men and women. Finally, no differences were found in the dyadic adjustment, attachment styles, and level of emotional dependence of the participants according to sex.
