Retratos de mulher: análise da representação do corpo feminino nas capas das revistas mensais brasileiras Playboy e Nova no ano de 2005

This research looks at the female image built by press Brazilian media at the beginning of century XXI. I look, specially, at the national male and female magazines. I introduce data from two magazines: Nova/Cosmopolitan and Playboy, published in 2005, by the same company: Editora Abril S.A. I proceed to the analyzing step using scientific texts about advertising photograph, their elements, and possible lectures. I also try checking the way how these two magazines build the women‟s ideal image in the beginning of 2000. A pesquisa apresenta dados coletados junto a dois veículos de circulação nacional: Nova/Cosmopolitan e Playboy, editadas, no ano de 2005, pela mesma empresa, a Editora Abril S.A., com sede em São Paulo. Com base em textos científicos sobre a utilização da fotografia na publicidade, seus critérios e elementos de leituras, procurou-se verificar os modos como as duas revistas constroem a imagem conceitual da mulher brasileira do início dos anos 2000.
