Movimento orbital de satélites artificiais : efeitos ressonantes /

Sampaio, Jarbas Cordeiro. January 2013 (has links)
Possíveis movimentos irregulares são observados pela presença de diferentes ângulos ressonantes descrevendo a dinâmica orbital destes objetos / Abstract: The increasing number of objects orbiting the Earth justifies the great attention and interest in the space between the Planet and the Moon in the last years. These studies involve different disturbances and resonances in the orbital motions of these objects distributed by the distinct altitudes. In this work, the resonance problem in the artificial satellites motion is studied. The development of the geopotential includes the zonal harmonics J20 and J40 and the tesseral harmonics J22 and J42. Through an averaging procedure and successive Mathieu transformations, the order of dynamical system is reduced and the final system is solved by numerical integration. In the simplified dynamical model, three critical angles are studied. The half-width of the separatrix is calculated through a linearized model which describes the behavior of the dynamical system in a neighborhood of each critical angle. Through the resonance overlap criterion the possible regular and irregular motions are investigated by the time behavior of the semimajor axis, argument of perigee and eccentricity. The largest Lyapunov exponent is used as tool to verify the chaotic motion. In the studies about the resonant objects the TLE (Two-Line Elements) of the NORAD are studied observing the resonant period of the objects orbiting the Earth and the main resonance in the LEO region. The time behavior of the semi-major axis, eccentricity and inclination of some artificial satellites and space debris are studied. Possible irregular motions are observed by the presence of different resonant angles describing the orbital dynamics of these objects / Doutor

Mana, Marcelo Roberto. January 2003 (has links)
Abstract: Under the action of the tides, the orbits of Phobos and Triton are spiralling in towards their host planets. The main purpose of this work is to analyze some interesting features that will occur while these orbits are contracting, i. e., these satellites will pass through some secular and orbital resonances. Here we revisit a previous work of Yokoyama (2002) taking a more complete model for the motion of the planet. The integrations are extended to much longer time. Then it is shown that the escapes are very sensitive to the initial con- ditions. The possibility of the existence of an \universal inclination " is brie°y discussed. Phobos will face an interesting case of \double resonance " which plays an important role , because a new resonance will be subsequently encountered. For Neptune-Triton system, it is shown that the e®ect of some orbital retrograde resonances can be very weak if the oblateness of the planet is neglected. No capture in these resonances seems to be possible. Due to the high inclination of Triton's orbit, in some cases an inner satellite can survive for some moderate time even when it's semi major axis is rather close to Triton's semi major axis. / Mestre

Veri camos que a migração desses satélites provocam aumento da excentricidade de Mimas, aumentando a largura da ressonância de corrotação e capturando partículas / In the Solar System there are several types of celestial objects, such as planets, satellites, rings, etc., which show an interesting dynamics. The study of the dynamics of rings and satellites of Saturn have always been of great interest due to the structures they present various, for example, structures that appear on the A ring. These structures can be described in the context of resonances between the particles of the ring and satellites. Therefore it, is important to examine the nature of these resonant interactions in order to understand the characteristics observed in the satellites and rings of Saturn and the orbital evolution of these objects. This work highlighted the corotation resonance, which occurs when the velocity pattern of the disturbed particle is equal to the orbital rate of the disturbing satellite . In particular resonance corotation of Saturn's G ring arc with Mimas satellite. Embebed in this arc is the satellite Aegaeon, and in this work we investigate mechanisms that could capture this satellite. We will investigate whether the migrations of satellites Mimas and Tethys, which may be due to tidal e ects could ful ll this mechanism. We found that the migration of these satellites increase the eccentricity of Mimas, increasing the resonance width and capturing the particles
