Com essa revisão, realizada à luz do Método Histórico Comparativo, reorganizamos os dados existentes, visando à demonstração das correspondências lexicais e fonológicas entre as línguas comparadas, que não foram tratadas sistematicamente no trabalho de Loukotka. Esse estudo permitiu, por um lado, confirmar a validade da proposta de Loukotka e, por outro lado, pôr em evidência as correspondências lexicais e fonológicas entre o Masakará e as demais línguas, por ela ser mais diferenciada em relação às outras. Finalmente, o estudo permitiu a elaboração de um modelo arbóreo para a família lingüística Kamakã. _______________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / In the present study we have developed a revision of the Kamakã linguistic family proposed by Chestmir Loukotka (1932). With this revision of the Kamakã family, which was based on the Comparative Method, we have reorganized the data available aiming demonstrating the lexical and phonological correspondences among the languages compared, which have not been considered in a systematic way in Loukotka’s work. On the one hand this study had permitted to confirm Loukotka’s hypothesis and, on the other hand, it permited to highlight the lexical and phonological correspondences between the Masakará and the other languages, as it is more differentiated from the other languages. Finally this study made it possible the elaboration of a family tree model for the Kamakã family.
