No. of bitstreams: 1 CPDOC2009ReginaCeliaAzevedoVives.pdf: 1176331 bytes, checksum: 404639691d83072b54a2dc8d9a31adab (MD5) / The present study intends to offer the ways to understanding of the functioning of the radios in the favela Rio das Pedras, located in the neighborhood of Jacarepaguá, in the city of Rio de Janeiro, and the knowledge concerning the joint of the community concept of radio reproduced by the involved actors in the radios transmissions. The development of the research on the radios of this favela was favored by the participant comment in the field, that a friendly environment for accomplishment of the interviews of history of life of the owner of the radios, allowing the understanding of its relations with the radio community, objective, future expectations of the broadcasting in the locality, and still the establishment of an analytical synthesis of the relations between the speeches produced by the owner of theses radios. / O presente estudo pretende oferecer janelas à compreensão do funcionamento das emissoras de rádio existentes na favela Rio das Pedras, localizada no bairro de Jacarepaguá, na cidade do Rio de Janeiro, e o conhecimento acerca da articulação do conceito de rádio comunitária reproduzido pelos atores envolvidos nas transmissões radiofônicas. O desenvolvimento da pesquisa sobre as rádios dessa favela foi favorecido pela observação participante no campo, que propiciou um ambiente amistoso para realização das entrevistas de história de vida dos proprietários das emissoras, permitindo a compreensão de suas relações com a comunicação radiofônica, objetivos, expectativas futuras da radiodifusão na localidade, e ainda o estabelecimento de uma síntese analítica das relações entre os discursos produzidos pelos proprietários dessas emissoras.
