Path Planning under Failures in Wireless Sensor NetworksPaturu Raghunatha Rao, Nityananda Suresh January 2013 (has links)
This paper explores how an all pair shortest path can be obtained in a wireless sensor network when sensors fail. Sensors are randomly deployed in a predefined geographical area, simulating the deployment of sensors from an airplane, and finding shortest path between all the sensors deployed based on distance. A major problem to address in wireless sensor networks is the impact of sensor failures on existing shortest paths in the network. An application is developed to simulate a network and find shortest paths affected by a sensor failure and find alternative shortest path. When a sensor fails, all the shortest paths and all the remaining sensors in the network are checked to see if the sensor failure has any impact on the network. Alternative shortest path is calculated for those paths affected by sensor failures.

Směrovací protokoly v sítích s volnou topologií / Routing protocols in scale-free topology networksMahdal, Ondřej January 2008 (has links)
This master's thesis (further only MT) deal with problems of scale-free topology networks with a view to technology MANET (Mobile Ad hoc network) or more precisely Motorola MESH. Further studies routing technique and quality of services (QoS) in these networks. Theoretic part of MT in introduction shortly characterizes properties and kind of Ad hoc networks, next part is dedicated to technology Motorola MESH and shows practical usage of this technology. Analysis of problems quality of services and optimalization QoS in MANET is content third parts of MT. Fourth part specifies division of routing protocols, analysis of routing in MANET and characteristics routing protocols OLSR, AODV, DSR and TORA. In practical fifth part of MT are in introduction simulated simple MANET and mesh networks and further is created model of MANET network, into the model are implemented accessible routing protocols in simulation program OPNET Modeler and on the basis of simulation these protocols or more precisely output statisticians of simulation are protocols compared from several aspects and suitability for transmission of multimedia data (voice, video).

Samoorganizující se sítě typu MESH / Self-organizing MESH wireless networksNěmec, Petr January 2009 (has links)
This master thesis deals with self organized Mesh network. It describes routing and particular routing protocols, which are used in these networks. The thesis deals with Mesh network QoS assurance. Analysis and theoretical background of Mesh networks, routing and router protocols are included in the first chapter. Basic models of assuring Quality of Service are also described. Those are Best Effort, IntServ and DiffServ. Second chapter describes the devices used in the specific Mesh network topology - Trospos 5210 MetroMesh router produced by Motorola Canopy. Basic settings and properties required to establish a Mesh network are described. Next part of the thesis is the design implementation, which involves creation and configuration of the Mesh Network. Network configuration consisting of two Gateway points and afterwards behaviors of the network in a steady state versus one gate failure are compared. Furthermore, implementation of QoS according to components that support two types of QoS assurance regarding type of bandwidth reservation and defined traffic classes. In conclusion, the thesis describes measurement methods of QoS parameters for chosen applications, evaluation and comparison of measurement results for both types of Quality of Service assurance.

Lokalizace a její vliv na další procesy v bezdrátové síti / Localization and its influence on other processes in a wireless networkZemánek, Karel January 2010 (has links)
The masters thesis concerns localization and its influence on other processes in a wireless network. The first part of the thesis is devoted to the study of localization algorithms in wireless sensor networks. The second and third part is devoted to the description of hierarchiacal aggragation and Greedy perimetr stateless rating (GPSR). The fourth part presents implementation of GPSR protokol into the MATLAB simulation tool. It contains the description of specific m-files, that are use for simulation. The fifth part deals with the simulation itself. And the final part presents simulation results.

Analýza modelů směrovacích protokolů OLSR a AODV pro MANET sítě v prostředí OPNET Modeler / Analysis of MANET Routing Protocols OLSR and AODV in OPNET Modeler Simulation EnvironmentMachata, Tomáš January 2011 (has links)
The thesis deals with MANET networks and it focuses on the routing process. Most attention is paid to the routing protocols AODV and OLSR. These protocols are described in the detail. The aim of the thesis is to create a simulation model of MANET network in OPNET Modeler environment. In this model the AODV protocol is configured. In order to achieve improved characteristics of the network traffic the routing protocol parameters are optimized. Furthermore the process model of AODV protocol in this environment is studied and extended by a new type of message, which allows a transfer of current transmission speed of MANET station network interface. Current transmission rate of stations is retrieved from the statistics. Every station periodically sends a message to neighboring nodes. The node stores the information into the file when a new message arrives.

Systém směrování na více bran pomocí směrovače Mikrotik / Multigateway routing system based on the Mikrotik routerStraník, Jan January 2012 (has links)
This thesis deals with the routing of data traffic to multiple gateways with a network operating system MikroTik RouterOS, which has become widespread in the small firms and home users. It is aimed to describe the problem with using multiple gateways. RouterOS description itself and its core components needed to solve this issue, such as routing, packet marking and quality assuranceservices. It also deals with the description of the particular design and testing. The proposedsolution is verified on the example of a real situation. Finally, the proposed solution is compared to alternative solutions, commonly used in practice.

QoS model pro mobilní ad hoc síť / QoS model for Mobile ad hoc networkMašek, Pavel January 2013 (has links)
The diploma thesis "QoS model for Mobile ad hoc network" focuses on the quality of services in MANET (Mobile Ad-hoc) networks. It describes MANET networks and covers the theoretical analysis of routing protocols with QoS (Quality of Service) support. Furthermore, there is processed the creation process of model MANET networks with the routing protocol DSDV (Destination-Sequenced Distance Vector) in the simulation environment NS-3 (Network Simulator 3) and its extension of QoS support. The used QoS model is subsequently modified to improve core operating parameters. The implementation of QoS parameters as well as the improvement of delay and jitter (the delay between selected packets) is verified by the functional simulation.

Simulační scénáře v prostředí IT Guru pro předmět Komunikační technologie / Simulation scenarios in IT Guru environment for Communication technology courseRybka, Štěpán January 2013 (has links)
This thesis called Simulation scenarios in an IT Guru enviroment for Communication Technologies deals with the design of laboratory experiments for the above-mentioned subject. The first part is a theoretical introduction to the protocols. The practical part contains the tasks itself. The work includes four laboratory tasks with a detailed description of the work and an illustrative pictures. The first two tasks are focused on the application protocols, with which the user comes into contact with every day. The other two are focused on routing protocols, precisely the internal routing protocol IS-IS and BGP external routing protocol. A free version of simulation software OPNET Modeler and IT Guru enviroment version 9.1.A were used to create the work.

Portace nástroje OptaPlanner na Android / Port of OptaPlanner on AndroidDavid, Tomáš January 2015 (has links)
This thesis deals with portation of the OptaPlanner tool to the Android operating system. The OptaPlanner is used for solving planning problems and it is completely written in the Java programming language which is also used for application development of the Android operating system. However, Android does not contain all of the Java Standard Edition Application Programming Interface libraries and porting of OptaPlanner to Android thus causes dependency problems. The result of the thesis is solution design and implementation of the problems mentioned above and model Android Vehicle Routing Problem application which uses ported OptaPlanner tool.
