This master thesis is focusing on SAP implementation within purchase department. In thesis will be compared currently used ERP system Helios Orange and newly proposed SAP. As next will be described implementation project step by step. Also will be mentioned problems which can occur during implementation and can have direct impact on purchase department. In last chapter will described material cut-off of both systems with as minimal impact as possible on continuous production process.

This thesis deals with the creation of an application developed for a real company using Web Dynpro ABAP technology. The application allows devices running on Windows Mobile platform access to SAP warehouse management.

Thesis (MTech (Business Administration))--Cape Peninsula University of Technology, 2010. / The company studied is a privately owned textile company, which is part of the CAP Germany Group of companies. It is one of the leading textile knitting mills in Southern Africa and has won several awards in this regard, whilst it has also been subject to quite a few changes over the last few years. The company recently appointed a new Chief Executive Officer to lead the textile mill into the technical market, and extend the range of the fashion apparel, which it focuses on as its main product. With the aim of keeping the company in the forefront of new development, it has become important to keep its management team well informed and for them to make strategic decisions with much focus on analysis of the information that is available to them. The textile mill has a SAP ERP system, which was implemented as to provide a source of information, hence management can analyse this information that is available to aid them in their decision-making.

Der wirtschaftliche Erfolg von Unternehmen wird heute von der Fähigkeit beeinflusst, die Geschäftsstrategie schneller umsetzen zu können als die Konkurrenz. Wichtige Ziele sind die Erschließung neuer Märkte, die Reduzierung von Kosten sowie die Steigerung der Effizienz. Mit SOA-ERP-Systemen wird es möglich, selektiv und am Bedarf ausgerichtet neue Prozesse zu gestalten und das Prozess-Design mit der Einbindung von Lieferanten, Kunden und Partnern über Unternehmensgrenzen hinweg zu gestalten. SAP Enterprise-SOA bezeichnet die serviceorientierte ERP-Architektur der SAP AG. Die darauf basierenden Anwendungen entstehen – unter Einsatz der Enterprise-SOA Roadmap-Methodik – durch die gezielte Kombination von Plattform-, Ex-tension- und Composite-Applikationen. Letztere stellen hochflexible, aus Enterprise-Services/Services von Drittanbietern erstellte, Anwendungen dar. Deren Design durch SOA-Experten liegt ein hohes Maß an Erfahrungswissen zu Grunde. Dieses stellt den zentralen Aspekt der Speicherung und Wiederverwendung durch fallbasiertes Schließen dar. Im Gegensatz zum bestehenden Ansatz zur Beschreibung von Best-Practice Implementierungen im „SAP Community Network“ ermöglicht der hier dargestellte Vorschlag die strukturierte, prozessbezogene Speicherung sowie die ähnlichkeitsbasierte Wiederverwendung von Composite-Applikationen innerhalb des Roadmap-Prozesses. Schwerpunktmäßig werden dazu Indizes zum Aufbau von Zugriffsstrukturen in der Fallbasis sowie wie ein allgemeingültiges globales und ein beispielhaftes, kontextspezifisches lokales Indexvokabular erarbeitet. Weiterhin erfolgt die Angabe entsprechender Ähnlichkeitsmaße für die ausgeprägten Indizes sowie das Aufzeigen der Ähnlichkeitsbestimmung zwischen zwei Fällen durch einen Nearest-Neighbor Matching Algorithmus.

The gas and electricity supplier company has decided to improve their business processes by implementing the SAP CRM system. This master's thesis covers design and implementation of a communication layer in the IDE module of the SAP IS-U backend system for the purpose of integrating existing solution of particular business processes into the new SAP CRM frontend system.

Expone acerca de una organización dedicada a brindar servicios de trasporte ferroviarios a turistas y públicos. La organización forma parte un grupo de empresas de capitales peruanos Crosland - Inca Rail. La organización actualmente posee un sistema para la planificación de los recursos empresariales (ERP) llamado SAP Bussines Suite, que da soporte a los procesos de finanzas, controlling, logística, ventas y recursos humanos, además cuenta con un sistema legado llamado SAMI (sistema Administrativo Modular Integrado), desarrollado en la tecnología .NET de Microsoft, los cuales interactúan entre sí manualmente, a través de archivos de texto y/o envió de email. La integración actual de las aplicaciones en la organización genera diversos problemas, principalmente retraso en las operaciones debido a la demora en solución de problemas de integración, duplicidad de datos, riesgo alteración de los datos y alto costo de integración de las aplicaciones. El presente informe presenta una propuesta para solucionar este problema que impacta en los procesos operacionales de la empresa, considerando la integración con los otros sistemas de las empresas del grupo y planes de futuras adquisiciones de sistemas. La identificación del problema y los requerimientos de la empresa nos llevó a plantear una solución de integración empresarial, un Bus de Servicios Empresariales (ESB, Enterprise Service Bus). Como alternativas de solución se presenta a dos productos: SAP NetWeaver Process Integration e IBM WebSphere Message Broker para identificar cómo efectivamente uno de ellos puede implementar y soportar una arquitectura orientada a servicios (SOA) y cumplir con la integración empresarial que necesita la organización. Para el producto seleccionado se propone un plan de acción para su propuesta de solución y los criterios de aceptación que deben ser tomados en cuenta para la solución. / Trabajo de suficiencia profesional

The thesis deals with connecting SAP ERP system via local database system MS SQL Server using the tools SAP BI, data synchronization between systems and advanced usage of T-SQL language for preparing data for web applications and reports written in PHP. The thesis contains a brief overview of the SAP system and the possibility of connecting to the SAP system. The general principles of described solution can be used in conjunction with other systems and programming languages.
