Pohon svislého suportu obráběcího centra lineárním motorem / Drive Vertical Saddle of Machining Centre by Linear MotorZapletal, Radek January 2008 (has links)
The diploma dissertation deals with the mechanism of vertical movement of a saddle of high-speed machining centre which is made by the Trimill company. The movement of vertical alloy saddle is solved by ball screw. The solution could be improved by replacing the ball screw by linear motor. This will dramatically improve the dynamics of the movement of the vertical saddle. In addition, if the weight is compensated by pneumatic relief and the construction is welded, the dynamics will further improve.

Calculating the Distance to the Saddle-Node Bifurcation SetBorquez Caballero, Rodrigo Edgardo January 2009 (has links)
A power system will experience voltage collapse when the loads increase up to a certain critical limit, where the system physically cannot support the amount of connected load. This point identified as a Saddle- Node Bifurcation (SNB), corresponds to a generic instability of parameterized differential equation models and represents the intersection point where different branches of equilibria meet. At this point the jacobian matrix of the system is singular and the system loses stability bringing the typical scenario of voltage collapse. To prevent voltage instability and collapse, the computation of the closest distance from a present operating point to the saddle-node bifurcation set can be used as a loadability index useful in power system operation and planning. The power margin is determined by applying the iterative or direct method described in [16]. Numerical examples of both methods applied to IEEE 9-bus system and IEEE 39-bus system shows that the iterative method is more reliable although it requires a longer computation time. The stability of the system is negatively affected in two ways when generators reach their reactive power limits: the voltage stability margin is deteriorated, or immediate voltage instability and collapse is produced.

Restaurace Chalupa / Restaurant chalupaPavíčková, Kristina January 2022 (has links)
The main aim of this master’s thesis is to elaborate the project documentation of a new restaurant Chalupa. Building is situated in area of the local camp on the edge of the town called Mořkov. The building has one above-ground floor and a partial basement. On above-ground floor, there are two main parts: restaurant and kitchen. Then there are also private room and sanitary facilities for both customers and staff. The building is designed as a CLT superstructure and has a gable roof. The vertical loadbearing structures and non-loadbearing walls are designed of CLT panels. The horizontal loadbearing structures are designed of reinforced cast-in-place concrete slab. Heating energy is supplied by pellet boiler. Ventilation is provided by air conditioning unit. Shading is provided by external louvers. In the third pard, I am creating the facility management plan for this building. The project and visualizations were carried out in the Autocad program.

Požární stanice typu P4, Chrudim / Fire station type P4, ChrudimŠťastný, Jan Unknown Date (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the project documentation for the construction of a new building of the fire station type P4 in Chrudim. The building is located on land lot No. 2412/7 and 2412/8, in the cadastral area of Chrudim. The house is divided into two parts; an administrative part with a room for firefighters and a garage, which contains the complete technical facilities of the station. The fire station is situated in the existing housing development of the town Chrudim, specifically in part Chrudim II. The administrative part of the building has two floors. On the ground floor, there are individual offices and a gym, including technical facilities. On the first floor, there are rooms for firefighters and rooms for their daily services. Next to the land lot, there is a local road of type III. The house is designed to respect the municipality’s territorial plan and the surrounding built-up area. The project documentation is elaborated in compliance with current building legislation, regulations, and standards. The house‘s profile is irregular, and the building has two flat roofs and a span roof. The system of construction is made of bricks and colomns. The building is situated on slightly sloping terrain.

Experimental and Numerical Study of Endwall Film CoolingMahadevan, Srikrishna 01 January 2015 (has links)
This research work investigates the thermal performance of a film-cooled gas turbine endwall under two different mainstream flow conditions. In the first part of the research investigation, the effect of unsteady passing wakes on a film-cooled pitchwise-curved surface (representing an endwall without airfoils) was experimentally studied for heat transfer characteristics on a time-averaged basis. The temperature sensitive paint technique was used to obtain the local temperatures on the test surface. The required heat flux input was provided using foil heaters. Discrete film injection was implemented on the test surface using cylindrical holes with a streamwise inclination angle of 35? and no compound angle relative to the mean approach velocity vector. The passing wakes increased the heat transfer coefficients at both the wake passing frequencies that were experimented. Due to the increasing film cooling jet turbulence and strong jet-mainstream interaction at higher blowing ratios, the heat transfer coefficients were amplified. A combination of film injection and unsteady passing wakes resulted in a maximum pitch-averaged and centerline heat transfer augmentation of ? 28% and 31.7% relative to the no wake and no film injection case. The second part of the research study involves an experimental and numerical analysis of secondary flow and coolant film interaction in a high subsonic annular cascade with a maximum isentropic throat Mach number of ? 0.68. Endwall (platform) thermal protection is provided using discrete cylindrical holes with a streamwise inclination angle of 30? and no compound angle relative to the mean approach velocity vector. The surface flow visualization on the inner endwall provided the location of the saddle point and the three-dimensional separation lines. Computational predictions showed that the leading-edge horseshoe vortex was confined to approximately 1.5% of the airfoil span for the no film injection case and intensified with low momentum film injection. At the highest blowing ratio, the film cooling jet weakened the horseshoe vortex at the leading-edge plane. The passage vortex was intensified with coolant injection at all blowing ratios. It was seen that increasing average blowing ratio improved the film effectiveness on the endwall. The discharge coefficients calculated for each film cooling hole indicated significant non-uniformity in the coolant discharge at lower blowing ratios and the strong dependence of discharge coefficients on the mainstream static pressure and the location of three-dimensional separation lines. Near the airfoil suction side, a region of coalesced film cooling jets providing close to uniform film coverage was observed, indicative of the mainstream acceleration and the influence of three-dimensional separation lines.
