Från skolvärlden till sysselsättning eller vidareutbildning : Samstart som hjälp med övergången / From school to employment or further education : Samstart as a tool in the transition

Book, Pontus, Sehlberg, Rebecca January 2024 (has links)
The purpose of this essay is to investigate the Samstart project and explore the support services it provides for individuals with neurodivergence. Through interviews with professionals involved in the project, the responses will be analyzed using the concept of stigma. The empirical data has been subjected to thematic analysis. The findings revealed that Samstart does not offer any unique interventions, rather, it employs the same measures as those provided by the rest of the Swedish employment agency (Arbetsförmedlingen). However, the project distinguishes itself by implementing a different approach. The conclusion drawn from the interviews is that Samstart does not have unique interventions of its own, they utilize the same interventions as the rest of the Swedish employment agency (Arbetsförmedlingen). What sets Samstart apart is its close collaboration with other government agencies and its early engagement with schools.
