El presente trabajo de investigación evaluó el nivel de desempeño estructural del Palacio Municipal del distrito de José Leonardo Ortiz, Chiclayo; utilizando el análisis estático y dinámico no lineal, con la ayuda del software SAP 2000. En primer lugar, se realizaron ensayos de campo para determinar el tipo de suelo de apoyo, la resistencia a la compresión del concreto, y la determinación del acero de refuerzo de cada elemento estructural. Posterior a esto, se realizó un análisis símico lineal, donde se determinó que la estructura es de régimen irregular y presenta derivas máximas superiores a lo estipulado en la norma E.030. Finalmente, mediante el análisis pushover se determinó que el nivel de desempeño del Palacio Municipal es de colapso inmediato, debido a que la respuesta cae fuera de la curva de capacidad. En el caso del análisis no lineal tiempo historia se observa que, debido a las rotaciones, desplazamientos y derivas de la edificación supera ampliamente la capacidad de deformación. Por el cual se concluye, que la estructura ante un evento sísmico de gran magnitud colapsaría. / The present research work evaluated the level of structural performance of the Municipal Palace of the José Leonardo Ortiz district, Chiclayo; using nonlinear static and dynamic analysis, with the help of SAP 2000 software. First, field tests were carried out to determine the type of supporting soil, the compressive strength of the concrete, and the determination of the reinforcing rebar for each structural element. After this, a linear seismic analysis was carried out, where it was determined that the structure has an irregular regime and presents maximum drifts greater than that stipulated in standard E.030. Finally, through the pushover analysis, it was determined that the performance level of the Municipal Palace is one of immediate collapse, because the response falls outside the capacity curve. In the case of the nonlinear time history analysis, it is observed that, due to the rotations, displacements, and drifts of the building, it greatly exceeds the deformation capacity. Therefore, it is concluded that the structure would collapse in the event of a large-magnitude seismic event.
