Were used seeds cultivar AL-34, produced at Ataliba Leonel’s Production of Seeds Center, belonging CATI/SAA, in Manduri, SP. Have been realized two harvests, the first when the water content seeds was close to 22% and the second when this was close to 16%. The harvests were realized manually and mechanically and the ears harvested manually were taken to Vegetal Production Department, Agriculture’s sector, Campus of UNESP in Botucatu, SP, dried in shadow and then threshed manually. The seeds harvested and threshed mechanically at the Ataliba Leonel’s Production of Seeds Center were taked for processament at Seeds Center of Avaré (DSMM/SAA) where were colected samples after pre-cleaning, after drying, after classification and after insecticide treatment. All the samples obtained before the classification (manual harvest, after mechanical harvest, after pre-cleaning and after drying) were classified in four sieves, three of oblongs openings (12/64” x 3/4, 13/64” x 3/4 and 14/64”x 3/4) and one round (22/64”). Each class of seed into each point of sample was considered one treatment. The quality tests were realized after harvest, after six and twelve months of storage. The tests were: determination of seed’s water content, germination, cold without soil, iodine die, speed of emergence, percentage of emergence plants, dry matter weigth of aerial part, infested seeds and blotter...
