I hushåll runt om i Sverige används fortfarande elektriska varmvattenberedare för uppvärmning av tappvarmvatten. Anledningen till detta är enkelheten, pålitligheten och den låga investeringskostnaden. Det finns på marknaden idag inget billigt ersättningsalternativ. Det går att värma både hus och tappvatten med andra uppvärmningssystem, men ett byte till något av dessa är både kostsamt och kan ta tid. Värmepumpar finns i många olika storlekar och används för olika ändamål. En värmepump med ändamålet att värma tappvatten, som är pålitlig, enkel och har en låg investeringskostnad skulle kunna sänka såväl elanvändning som driftkostnad. Värmepumpar kan använda sig av många olika värmekällor en av de mer okonventionella är solen. Att använda solen som energikälla till en värmepump är en spännande lösning, den stora effekttillförsel som solen förväntas bidra med kan öka årsvärmefaktorn markant. I länder där det råder varmare klimat och goda förutsättningar för solfångaren har den här typen av värmepumpar uppnått värmefaktorer mellan 2-9. I svenskt klimat har vi gott om sol på sommaren och desto mindre under vintern. För att säkerställa stabil drift så kommer en variant på en solvärmepump anpassad för svenskt klimat att studeras. Det kommer användas två förångare i serie, en solfångare och en som använder sig av omgivande luft som värmekälla. Luftförångaren skall säkerställa god drift under vintern samtidigt som solfångaren skall lyfta värmepumpen till nya nivåer under sommaren. Målsättningen är att simulera en solvärmepump i svenskt klimat och utreda dimensionerna på komponenter, hur de påverkar varandra samt beräkna en årsvärmefaktor. Det skall även utredas vad solen bidrar med. Det visar sig att det ej behövs en stor värmepump för att tillgodose det behov av energi som krävs för att värma tappvatten till önskade temperaturer. Genom att seriekoppla dessa två förångare visar det sig även att solfångaren ej tillför det förväntade, i det bästa driftfallet ökar enbart solfångaren årsvärmefaktorn från ungefär 2,7 till 2,8. / Many households around Sweden is still using an electric water heater for heating domestic hot water. The reason for this is the simplicity, reliability, and low investment cost of the electric water heater. There are no cheap replacement options on the Swedish market today. It is possible to heat the house and the domestic tap water with other heating systems, but a change to any of these are costly and can take time. Heat pumps are available in many different sizes and are used for various purposes. A heat pump with the purpose to heat tap water, which is reliable, simple and has a low investment cost could reduce both electricity usage and operating costs. Heat pumps can make use of many different sources of heat one of the more unconventional is the sun, a so called DX-SAHP. To use the sun as an energy source for a heat pump is an exciting solution, the large power supply from the sun is expected to contribute to the annual performance significantly. In countries where the climate is warmer and the conditions for the solar collector is good, this type of heat pumps reached a coefficient of performance between 2-9. In the Swedish climate, there are plenty of sunshine in the summer and almost none during the winter. To ensure stable operation a variant of a DX-SAHP designed for Swedish climate will be studied. There will be two evaporators in series, a solar collector and one that uses ambient air as a heat source. The air evaporator, should ensure good operation during the winter while the sun collector will lift the heat pump to new levels during the summer. The goal is to simulate a DX-SAHP in the Swedish climate, investigate the dimensions of the components and calculate the Seasonal Performance Factor (SPF). It is also to be investigated what the sun contributes to the heat pump. It appears that a fairly small heat pump meets the needs of energy required for heating the domestic water to the desired temperatures. The contribution from the sun collector to the SPF is in the best case from 2,7 to 2,8.
