Despite the negative prefix deconstruction is far from a bad thing, above all, it is needed. Deconstruction varies from minimum to maximum, it is up to man the responsibility to lead it minimally so that does not cause negative impacts on the natural environment, this, condition to meet the "needs" of future generations. Deconstruction happens by working in geographic space, where everything is produced is space. Undoubtedly, we are products of ourselves, just as we are products of space, this space where man is present. The need for space becomes paramount when it comes to housing. In the municipality of Matão -SP , the heart of our research , according to the Local Plan for affordable housing , there is a housing deficit of 1,700 homes. To try to remedy this deficit the Municipality deployed in the northern area of the city Portal Terra da Saudade. This set of social housing came to contemplate 761 families, with 658 units of the program Minha Casa, Minha Vida, and 103 units of FNHIS, the project was a big step in that it aims to meet housing demand for the low population income of up to two minimum salaries. This study analyzed the social viability, focusing on the issue of land tenure, urban planning and law regulating the area for the Portal and the impacts to the environment, especially the APP (Permanent Preservation Areas), in the light of the spatial deconstruction. We highlight the impacts to APP , the disappearance of a spring in the Portal , as well as an effluent dump untreated into two streams in the area studied . We detected some mistakes in the documents that made possible the acquisition of the area to implement the housing project . / A análise das transformações espaciais passa, a priori, pela desconstrução de algo. Apesar do prefixo negativo a desconstrução está longe de ser algo ruim, acima de tudo, ela se faz necessária. A desconstrução varia do mínimo ao máximo, cabe ao homem a responsabilidade de conduzi-la minimamente para que não acarrete impactos negativos no meio natural, este, condicionado a suprir as “necessidades” das gerações futuras. A desconstrução acontece mediante o trabalho no espaço geográfico, onde, tudo o que se produz é espaço. Sem dúvida, somos produtos de nós mesmos, da mesma forma que somos produtos do espaço, espaço esse onde o homem se faz presente. A necessidade de espaço se faz primordial quando a questão é moradia. No município de Matão-SP, cerne de nossa pesquisa, segundo o Plano Local de Habitação de Interesse Social, há um déficit habitacional de 1.700 moradias. Para tentar sanar este déficit a Prefeitura Municipal implantou na área norte da cidade o Portal Terra da Saudade. Este conjunto de habitação de interesse social veio a contemplar 761 famílias, sendo 658 unidades do Programa Minha Casa, Minha Vida, e 103 unidades do FNHIS, o empreendimento foi um grande passo na medida em que visa atender a demanda habitacional para a população de baixa renda, de até 2 salários mínimos. O presente estudo analisou a viabilidade social e espacial, tendo como foco a questão fundiária da terra, o planejamento urbano e leis que regulamentam a área destinada ao Portal e os impactos gerados ao meio ambiente, sobretudo às APP (Áreas de Preservação Permanente), à luz da desconstrução espacial. Destacamos os impactos às APP, o desaparecimento de uma nascente no Portal, além de um despejo de efluente sem tratamento em dois córregos na área estuda. Detectamos alguns equívocos nos documentos que viabilizaram a aquisição da área para implantação do conjunto habitacional.
