Entretanto, no Brasil pouco se discute a respeito das questões relacionadas a formação e atuação profissional de treinadores de futebol, principalmente no que se refere a uma carreira de sucesso nessa função. No Brasil, hoje, a maior parte dos treinadores de futebol não apresentam nenhum tipo de formação específica, contando apenas com experiências advindas de sua atividade anterior como jogador. No campo profissional, pesquisas que investigam a trajetória de treinadores, a partir de suas próprias perspectivas, vêm contribuindo para a compreensão de aspectos que apresentam maior necessidade na formação. Dessa forma, objetivo geral dessa pesquisa é investigar a trajetória de treinadores campeões brasileiros de futebol e, consequentemente evidenciar as configurações do futebol brasileiro por intermédio de suas histórias de vidas, e como objetivos específicos: a) analisar as implicações da formação acadêmica e das experiências como jogador profissional na carreira dos treinadores investigados; b) identificar os conhecimentos e competências presentes na atuação profissional dos treinadores de futebol participantes da pesquisa. Foram utilizadas fontes bibliográficas e documentais para a construção da revisão de literatura e elaboração do roteiro de entrevistas. Para a coleta dos depoimentos foi utilizada a fonte oral, por intermédio de uma entrevista semiestruturada com a abordagem denominada “História de Vida”. Para compreender esse universo utilizamos o modelo de análise da teoria sociológica Norbert Elias. Participaram da pesquisa os treinadores Geninho e Antônio Lopes, ambos campeões brasileiros. However, in Brazil little has been discussed about issues related to the formation and professional performance of coaches, principally, considering a successful career in this function. Today in Brazil, the major part of soccer coaches do not register any kind of specific formation. They count only on experiences coming from their former activities as soccer players. In the professional field, researches that investigate the trajectory of coaches, based on their own perspectives, keep on contributing to the understand of aspects which show a deeper necessity of academic formation. Thus, the main objective of this research, is to investigate the trajectory of coaches who were Brazilian soccer champions, consequently, pointing out the configurations of Brazilian soccer through their “Histories of Life”, and with specific goals: a) analyze the implications of academic formation and the experiences as professional soccer players, during the career of the coaches being investigated; b) identify knowledge and competencies within the professional performance of soccer coaches participating in the research. Bibliographies and documentary sources were used for the construction of the literature review and elaboration of the interviews course of action. To collect the testimonies, the oral source was used, through structured interviews called “History of life”. To make it possible to understand this universe we made use of the sociological theory of Norbert Elias. Magister Scientiae (Physiotherapy) - MSc(Physio) / Being involved in soccer in Rwanda at both national and international level exposes soccer players to the risk of injury. The aim of this study was to identify common soccer injuries among the 1st and 2nd division soccer teams in Rwanda and to establish the need for physiotherapy intervention. This deals with the first two stages of injury prevention, which included identification and description of the extent of the problem and the identification of factors and mechanisms that play a part in the occurrence of injuries. / South Africa
