A Breathing Stabilization System

Ling, Heping January 2008 (has links)
Breathing Stabilization System is a new idea and method. The purpose of this system is to produce a device to control a patient's breathing for gated radiotherapy. This thesis focuses on building a simple Breathing Stabilization System that includes five solenoids, a power supply and five force sensors to build up the whole system. Significantly, this thesis will introduce the modeling of solenoids in detail that include how to build a mathematical model of the solenoids. The simulation of the electromagnetic in professional multi-physics software COMSOL will also be explained. To drive the solenoid system, a voltage-to-current converter is used. This part will be introduced as well as the operational amplifier circuit used by the force sensors.

Objektivizace léčebných metod v oblasti hlubokého stabilizačního systému páteře / The objectification of therapeutical methods used for improvement of the deep stabilizng spinal system

Malátová, Renata January 2009 (has links)
5 Summary So far, no commercially used device, capable of evaluating the condition of the deep stabilizing spine system (DSSS), has appeared on the market. Therefore, a so called muscle dynamometer (SD01, SD02), has been constructed that enables to reveal a possible dysfunction of the DSSS. During a six-week-rehabilitation-course, aimed at correcting the body posture and strengthening the DSSS muscles, a statistically significant change (p<0.001) between the values of input and output measurements of the chosen group tested has been obtained. Correctness of the approach to objectify the initial state of the patient and his progress during the treatment was shown by the completed measurements. The effectiveness of therapeutical training was confirmed. Based on positive experience from SD01, a new version of muscle dynamometer, SD02, was constructed. Measurements by SD02 were to establish the condition of DSSS (frontal spine stabilization) by a lay-sit test repeatedly from the test battery UNIFITTEST 6-60 and by the diaphragm test. Measurements were conducted on 45 samples. Basic somatic measurements were performed and then measurements with the SD02 were conducted during the diaphragm test and UNIFITTEST. For comparison of the values the pairing t-test was used (normal data distribution was verified by the...

Hrbasová, Hana January 2010 (has links)
Hipotherapy is a complex therapy, broaden and recently very sought after rehabilitation method, which is being more and more recognized by experts for its broaden scene. It is a complex therapy thanks to involving medicine, psychology, pedagogy and also a social sphere. That's why is this method indicated at many different levels of disablement. It's being used with pacients with children's cerebral palsy, diverse level of cerebral dysfunction and multiple sclerosis. And it's the therapy's effect on multiple sclerosis that this thesis paper discusses. It also applies to brain and spinal traumas, scoliosis, back pain, orthopedic defects, cardiovascular disease, degenerative muscle disease, obesity, as well as it provides help at emotional and mental aspect, e.g. children with behavioral disorders and many others. At hipotherapy is being used a three dimensional (multidimensional) horse motion. Horse's spine moves up - down, forward - backward, right - left. Imitating a mechanisms of human walking, which leads to relaxation of spasticity. Impulses are transmitted onto back which brings interaction of impeller and back muscles, stand up pose, and posture interference. All this brings a walking improvements, movements coordination, balance and consolidation of a flabby muscles. Each horse has a different nature...

Système de stabilisation de la tension batterie pour la fonction Stop-Start automobile : solution à composants de puissance commandés en linéaire / Battery voltage stabilization system for automotive Stop-Start function : a linear power electronic solution

Chiappori, Guido, Jose 10 February 2015 (has links)
This thesis presents a new Linear Voltage Stabilization System (LVSS) specially designed for µ-hybrid vehicles using the Stop-Start function. The LVSS stabilizes the battery voltage during the start-up of the Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) limiting the start-up current using parallels MOSFETs working in linear mode. A prototype was developed and tested in a car. Results have shown the battery voltage properly stabilized limiting the start-up current. Furthermore the proposed solution does not impact on the overall performance of the Stop-Start. Main advantages are its small volume, low price and the fact that there is no EMC perturbation as transistors work in linear mode.

Разработка технических средств уменьшения температурных погрешностей обработки на высокоскоростных токарных станках : магистерская диссертация / Development of technical means to reduce the temperature errors of processing on high-speed lathes

Оссовская, Е. С., Ossovskaya, E. S. January 2021 (has links)
At the beginning of the work, the factors that affect the accuracy of machine tools are considered, and the role of temperature deformations is taken into account to ensure the accuracy of processing on metal-cutting machines. It is observed that thermal deformations have a great influence on the accuracy of machine tools. After that, we got acquainted with the ways to reduce the temperature deformations of machine components that are currently used, and with the technical means of their implementation. Having considered the existing systems, we determined the task of developing a thermal stabilization system with a water-cooled electric spindle. To begin with, we upgraded the existing thermal stabilization system of the spindle assembly, which included a differential circuit. Then, having identified the advantages and expediency of combined control, we developed a more advanced system of thermal stabilization of the spindle assembly. Next, another factor of error in processing is considered – this is a tool, in our case, a cutter for turning. A cooling system was developed for it, taking into account the heating of the plate.
