Modelování Lithium Iontových akumulátorů pomocí ECM / Modelling of lithium ion batteries using ECM

Langer, Lukáš January 2017 (has links)
The main aim of this paper are models of Li-Ion storage batteries made and simulated in ANSYS Fluent software. Various ways of simulations are discussed with main aim on ECM method and how its numerical model is computed. A process of getting information and required data from real battery to be compared with simulation results by EIS method is also discussed. These results are then compared with results from ANSYS Fluent.

Zajištěné napájení vlastní spotřeby parní elektrárny / Safe Uninterruptable Power Supply of Power Station Internal Consuption

Tomášek, Petr January 2009 (has links)
This thesis examines issues connected to safe uninterruptible power supplies. The term safe uninterruptible power supply is used for an aggregate of devices providing power for appliances that participate in safe rapid shutdown of a power plant in case power from a usual source fails. The thesis is divided into two parts – theoretical and practical. Theoretical part deals with possibilities and ways of realizing an aggregation of safe uninterruptible power supply. Various devices that can appear in the section of a safe uninterruptible power supply are listed and each device is characterized. Appliances that can be provided for by the sources of safe uninterruptible power supply are mentioned as well. These appliances are listed in accordance with ČSN standard nr. 381120. The theoretical part concludes with new trends in realization of safe uninterruptible power supplies. One of these sources is a clean source technology that can also be implemented in various ways. Practical part contains a suggestion of a safe uninterruptible power supply for particular steam power plant. This suggested safe uninterruptible power supply consists of rectifiers, batteries, inverters and a dieselgenerator. Calculated parameters of each device at the conclusion of the practical part are followed by a diagram of the suggested section of safe uninterruptible power supply.

Spínačová technologie v záložních zdrojích / Switching technology in uninterruptible power sources

Janáč, Josef January 2010 (has links)
Subject of this master’s thesis is ideological proposal of the UPS able to protect electronic equipment against short-term disruptions of network supply voltage. The entire facility is proposed on the basis of modern switching technologies . Properties of critical parts of the proposal are simulated and debugged with help of PSpice circuit simulator software. In project is also included the necessary design documents. The project is completed by realization of functional facility, measurement of it’s basic properties and comparison with assumption results.

Charging electric cars from solar energy

Liang, Xusheng, Tanyi, Elvis, Zou, Xin January 2016 (has links)
Before vehicles were heavily relied on coal, fossil fuels and wind for power.  Now, they are rapidly being replaced by electric vehicles and or plug-in hybrid electric cars. But these electric cars are still faced with the problem of energy availability because they rely on energy from biomass, hydro power and wind turbines for power generation. The abundance of solar radiation and its use as solar energy as a power source in driving these rapidly increasing electric cars is not only an important decision but also a necessary condition for eradication of environmental pollution. This study presents a model for charging electric cars from solar energy. Little focus on detailed technologies involved from solar energy capture to battery charging but our main focus is how to provide a modified charging parking lot in Karlskrona city-Sweden. With a surface area of 2850m2, we were able to choose 1STH-350-WH as the right PV modules. Based on the latitude of our design area, a computed 71 degrees angle positioning between solar panel and roof so as to maximise the surface area and optimise the solar irradiance gathering. Based on the power output of approximately116kW these PV modules generated, we further analysed and selected SDP 30KW inverter and Monocrystalline Silicon (1SolTech 1STH-350-WH (350W) solar modules. Also we provide different car charging method by choosing the SAE J1772 standard as one of specifications for dedicated vehicle charging and Clipper Creek HSC-40 as our option of charger. With the data of the generating solar energy every day, charging time, consuming power, we can estimate how many cars the system can handle to charge. Moreover, our system provides AC power from AC power network by general socket type F. We finally concluded that, our model for charging of electric car batteries was not only supportive but efficient in terms of extracting solar energy from sunlight to charge electric cars, thus making the region an eco-friendly place.

Návrh úprav letounu VUT 001 MARABU s pohonem vodíkovými palivovými články a bateriemi / Design of the Aircraft VUT 001 MARABU Modification Powered by Hydrogen Fuel Cells and Batteries

Bencalík, Karol January 2009 (has links)
The main topic of this thesis is a design of VUT 001 airplane fuel transformation by means of fuel cells and storage batteries. A list of components available on the market was drawn up, their building in the airplane and the engineering design for mounting the electric motor into the structure. The thesis also includes the mass and centering analysis of flight performance and stability control.

Eliminace diskontinuity dodávky elektrické energie z obnovitelných zdrojů / Elimination of Discontinuity Supply of Electric Energy from Renewable Energy Sources

Radil, Lukáš January 2013 (has links)
Doctoral thesis deals with domain of electric energy storage. It seeks to define the methods of accumulation, which can be used in industrial applications and define the conditions for the use of storage systems in electric power systems with extended penetration of renewable energy sources. In the context of current developments in this field is analyzed detail one of the perspective storage systems - Vanadium Redox Battery (VRB). One of the outcomes of this work is economic and energy analysis of storage systems, which are conceived with a disproportion between production and consumption of energy. The work was supported by the Centre for Research and Utilization of Renewable Energy (CVVOZE) no. CZ.1.05/2.1.00/01.0014 and research project no. FEKT S-11-9.
