Pudemos notar que o poeta estaria inserido numa tradição da literatura do século XX em Portugal, apesar de se utilizar de preceitos de um movimento de vanguarda. Esta particularidade não tira no entanto a importância inovadora do autor. Sua singularidade está exatamente em assimilar para uma postura de vanguarda traços que teria herdado de momentos anteriores da poesia portuguesa / Abstract: This study intend to bring arguments about the singularity of the portuguese poet António Maria Lisboa by the analisys of his books Isso Ontem Único (of essays) and Ossóptico (of poems). We believe that the arguments can afford us to the definition of his particular ars poetica related to the Surrealism and, on the other hand, the association of his poetry to an already tradicional portuguese thought, besides that vangard resource. This congruence between the thought of vangard and the thought of a tradicion must seem a paradox at the first sight, but it is exactly what makes António Maria Lisboa singular / Mestrado / Literatura Portuguesa / Mestre em Teoria e História Literária
