Salas Cusihuaman, Nancy Yudith, Castro Leyva, Iris Lucero 03 December 2018 (has links)
Objective: To compare in vitro the color stability of two Bulk Fill resin composites (FiltekTM Bulk Fill -3M-ESPE, Tetric N-Ceram® Bulk Fill) exposed to different pigmented beverages : chicha morada, green tea, coca tea. Material and methods: 60 composite discs were evaluated (6 mm in diameter and 4 mm in height) of the brands : FiltekTM Bulk Fill -3M-ESPE y Tetric N-Ceram® Bulk Fill Ivoclar-Vivadent, divided in 4 groups according to the pigmented beverages, chicha morada, green tea, coca tea and destilled water (control group) for 14 days. The samples were immersed in 20 ml of the substances daily at a temperature of 37C±5°. The color tests were done after 24 hours, 7 and 14 days, using a Vita Easyshade® Advance 4.0 spectrophotometer, to obtain the ΔE, L, C, H, a* y b* data. The Kruskal Wallis test was used to compare the chromatic stability values. Results: The biggest variation of color was in the Tetric N-Ceram® composite, being submerged in every beverage and in every time range. When comparing ΔE it was observed that the FiltekTM composite obtained 11.39±1.81, 8.47±2.14 and 7.90±1.81 and the Tetric N-Ceram® obtained 9.29±1.29, 5.58±1.96 and 4.39±1.59, being exposed to chicha morada, green tea and coca tea. In the luminosity test it was observed that the FiltekTM had results of 63.06±.75, 61.27±1.55 and 61.27±2.19 and the Tetric N-Ceram® composite obtained 64.79±3.32, 68.44±.86 y 67.51±1.11 when the discs were submerged in the pigmented beverages. / Tesis
