Diploma thesis deals a project documentation of a new school pavilion SOU in the location Pisek because of the unsatisfactory existing school bulding, which is located at a small distance from the new pavilion. Investor wants to build a new object of universal classrooms for ca. 180 students and sports hall with hygienic and technical facilities, which will be able for football club FC Pisek (football fields and central object of FC Pisek are close to neighboring plots). Investor wants to let the school canteen be on the current place, which is north of the new object. The object is designed as a two-floor with roof ascent (3.NP terrace), part of the building is embedded in the ground. The structural system of the school object is a ceramic bricks system, structural system of the sports hall is a reinforced concrete system. The roof of school object is warm flat roof and roof of sport hall is warm flat roof as well but mono-pitched type. The object has a U -shaped.

This dissertation thesis is focused on the research of role of symbols, especially graphic symbols (emblems, logos), in the process of region formation and in the process of shap- ing of regional identities. These aspects are studied in the context of Anssi Paasi's theory of institutionalization of region. The thesis discusses the use of symbols in the develop- ment of regions of different scales. The theoretical background of symbol research in the process of a region formation, as based on literature research, is later verified on an example of the analysis of symbols of the Liberec Region and the way they are used by various regional institutions. The Liberec Region is a suitable model area since it both represents a newly constituted region (after 2000), as well as it is already fully institution- alized. This region is also very heterogeneous from the point of view of the natural and cultural heritage. Regarding the settlement perspective, there are both areas inhabited continuously (traditional, "Czech" areas) and areas resettled after the WWII. In its first part, the thesis is devoted to evolution of regional geography. Master thesis is focused on design of steel roofing structure of sports hall. Construction is located in town of Jihlava. Proportions and disposition are in accordance of assignment of master thesis. The proportions are 40m x 60m, the height of structure is approximately 15m. Two versions of roof structure were designed – truss beam with shape of lentil and double reverse truss girders (girland truss). These versions were tentatively analyzed and designed for the main bearing members. Afterwards both of the versions were appraised and one of the versions was chosen for detailed treatment. It means there was attention focused on design of important details, creating of drawing documentation and technical report, all in the range of thesis supervisor. The valid Eurocodes were used.

This project deals with increasing efficiency of one phase induction motor with permanent split capacitor. We can whole thesis divide into two parts, the first one is basic and the second is interested in analysis and measurement. First part handles with construction of single phase induction motor, explanation of function principle, start and run of motor. Calculating of efficiency including type of losses, which reduce efficiency. Second part concerns analysis losses including moment load characteristic, motor measurement while rotor is locked, with no load operation, measuring mechanical and additional losses. Further there will be measured useful values for creation model for simulation (reactance of windings etc.). Than will be the model created in ANSYS Maxwell with module RMxprt. After analytic calculation in RMxprt and using Finite Element Method (FEM) load characteristics will be compared together. This comparison gives us information about accuracy of model for simulation. Simulation and measurement will be carried out on another engine with high quality ferromagnetic material used for magnetic circuit of motor. Further will be done simulation of motor with modifications shown in previous chapter for high efficiency.
