NEW ASPECTS OF HYDRATE CONTROL AT NORTHERN GAS AND GAS CONDENSATE FIELDS OF NOVATEK

Yunosov, Rauf, Istomin, Vladimir, Gritsishin, Dmitry, Shevkunov, Stanislav 07 1900 (has links)
A thermodynamic inhibitor - methanol is used for hydrates control both at gas-gathering pipelines and gas conditioning / treatment field plants of Novatek JSC. Due to severe climate conditions and absence of serious infrastructure high operation costs for hydrate control take place. For reducing inhibitor losses some new technological solutions were proposed including recycling and regeneration of saturated methanol. A small module for producing methanol at field conditions was designed. Technological schemes for methanol injection and recirculation are discussed. These technologies reduce methanol losses. Small methanol-producing plant at Yurkharovskoe gas-condensate field (12.5 million ton methanol per year) integrated with field gas treatment plant is presented. The technology includes producing converted gas (syngas) from natural gas, catalytic process for raw methanol synthesis and rectification of raw methanol at final stage. Some particularities of the integrated technology are as follows. Not needs for preliminary purification of required raw materials (natural gas and water). Dried natural gas after conditioning (without any traces of sulfuric compounds) and pure water from simplified water treatment block are used. Rectification of raw methanol is combined with rectification of saturated methanol from gas treatment plant. Economic estimations show that the integrated methanol-producing technology and optimization of methanol circulation in technological processes essentially reduce capital and operational costs for hydrate control at northern gas and gas-condensate fields.

Optimalizace UHV SEM pro studium nanostruktur v širokém rozsahu teplot / Optimization of UHV SEM for nanostructure study in wide temperature range

Axman, Tomáš January 2018 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the optimization of ultra-high vacuum scanning electron microscope - UHV SEM, which is developed within the Amispec project in cooperation with BUT, Institute of Scientific Instruments of the Czech Academy of Science and Tescan Brno, s.r.o. The theoretical part deals with the description of the actual state of the developed equipment and the research of competing systems. The next part describes the optimization of the sample holder and the pallet receptor for studying nanostructures over a wide range of temperatures. Part of the optimization is the sapphire thermal diode development and experimental verification of the functionality of the designed components. This is followed by the verification of the functionality of the whole system for the transport of samples to the UHV area, deposition with effusion cell and in-situ observations.

Vírová trubice / Vortex tube

Chýlek, Radomír January 2017 (has links)
The purpose of this diploma thesis was to find optimal operational parameters of Ranque–Hilsch vortex tube that would give the best results of temperature separation, and to create a numerical model of the device. Firstly, extensive research of current literature was done and analytical model of the tube was created. Then, the numerical model of the vortex tube was designed using Star-CCM+ software. Afterward, best fitting turbulence model was chosen to do the calculation and optimal geometrical parameters of the tube were obtained as a result of CFD simulation. Then, inlet nozzles for the tube were designed and manufactured. Experimental evaluation of the vortex tube and description of its optimal settings form a substantial part of the project. Finally, the data obtained from the experiment were compared to the results of numerical analysis and conclusions were deduced.
