Previous issue date: 2014-08-15 / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / This study sought to develop a teaching sequence capable of narrowing the contents
of Limits, Continuity and the Intermediate Value Theorem for use in secundary
education classes. For this purpose, didactic separate proposals were built for these
themes, which were applied to students of Secondary Education of the Nicanor Souto
Maior School. The application analysis of the proposal pointed out that the use of the
sequence is viable from a didactic point of view, the possible inclusion of these contents
in secundary education. As for the difficulties to develop the proposed activities
without the help of GeoGebra, these were identified mainly on the construction of the
graph, as has been reported in the literature. The GeoGebra proved to be a significant
tool to assist in the construction of such contents. Were proposed for future studies,
research projects that identify mathematical activities that may be strengthened with
the use of GeoGebra and researches that could results in new teaching situations that
may relate in an interdisciplinary way many areas of knowledge. / O presente trabalho procurou desenvolver uma sequ
