The project examines how a new structure could be added on top a 60’s school building without interfering with its structurally order and aesthetical manifestation. A new space for the citizens of Tensta, a hovering glass box that puts Tensta Centrum on the map. Together with new office spaces for the City District Administration it would work as a catalytic effect for the area. New spatial qualities emerges and the composition, the old vs the new, together creates Tensta’s new Town Hall. / Projektet undersöker hur en ny struktur kan läggas ovanpå en befintlig skolbyggnad utan att störa dess strukturella ordning och estetiska uttryck. En ny plats för medborgarna i Tensta, en svävande glasbox som sätter Tensta Centrum på kartan. Tillsammans med nya kontorsutrymmen för Stadsdelsförvaltningen skulle det fungera som en katalysator för området. Nya rumsliga kvaliteter framträder och sammansättningen det gamla och det nya, skapar tillsammans Tenstas nya Rådhus.

Mateřská škola / Kindergarten

The diploma thesis contains a proposal and construction solution of a new nursery school in the village of Postřelmov in the stage of project documentation for construction. The kindergarten has a rectangular shape and has two above-ground floors and one basement floor. The main entrance to the building is wheelchair accessible and is oriented to the south. In the basement there are 26 parking places for employees of kindergarten and elementary school in Postřelmov and also a technical background. The first floor consists of two classes of kindergarten, on the second floor there is the third class and a large hall, which will be used mainly for cultural events in the kindergarten. The foundation structure is made up of concrete strips and the foundation foots are designed in places of garage parking. The vertical structures in the basement are designed from concrete fittings, the vertical load-bearing structures in the above-ground floors are designed in the Porotherm masonry system, the other non-load-bearing structures are designed in the Ytong system. Due to the large spans, the horizontal structures are designed from prestressed Spiroll ceiling panels. The roofing of the building consists of a flat green extensive roof. The project documentation also includes construction - physical assessment and fire - safety solution of the building.

Diploma thesis "Residential building" is handleded in the form project documentation. It is a five-story building, the basement. The building is divided into two sections. The supporting structure of the building is monolithic frame with masonry infill. The building is located in a slightly sloping terrain. The entire building is covered by a flat roof. Individual residential units are located in the second, third, fourth and fifth floors. On the first floor there are two multiple garages, storage rooms, utility room and entrance tickets. Parts thesis are specialist in TZB and concrete structures.
