ŘEPOVÁ, Eliška January 2014 (has links)
The main theme of my thesis is the city administration of Prachatice as a seigniorial town between the years 1622 and 1699. I've focused my attention primarily on the functioning of the town hall in Prachatice. I've tried to reconstruct its staff structure and I've also been engaged in the renewal of the autonomy town authority related with it town hall, elders and the town reeve. The primary sources for my work were the town councillor manuals, lists of renewals, wedding contract books and testament books stored in the state regional archive in Prachatice, in stock Archive of the Prachatice town. I used sources, which were created during the renovation process, stored in the state regional archive in Třeboň, workplace Český Krumlov, and register books stored in the state regional archive in Třeboň. In the opening chapters I've tried to generally familiarize with the essential literature, the towns autonomy and town laws. I've compared the Prachatice autonomy with studies engaged in autonomy authorities of other towns.

Josef Fanta a klatovská radnice / Josef Fanta and the Klatovy Town Hall

Chroustová, Eva January 2017 (has links)
The thesis deals with the Town Hall of Klatovy - specifically its reconstruction according to Josef Fanta's plans. The main aim of the thesis was to understand and describe the reasons for applying Neo-Renaissance as late as in the 1920s and also to find out how this belated choice was perceived. First the causes of the reconstruction are explained and then the causes why it was Fanta who was approached. Based on the sources the work documents other key personalities who played an important part in forming the new town hall. A separate chapter is dedicated to the aims they set and which led towards applying the Neo-Renaissance style. For better understanding of this choice both the history of the Town Hall of Klatovy and a wider context of Neo-Renaissance and town halls are introduced. A big part of the thesis deals with the then criticism which arose against Fanta's project (mainly in 1921) and which made it a topic connected not only with Klatovy. The reconstruction of the Town Hall of Klatovy thus became an illustrative example of the clash of the generations and their different attitudes towards monuments.

Matyášová, Jana January 2016 (has links)
Design of a new town hall for the part of city Brno - Kohoutovice helps to create a functioning public space. City Hall is open to its mass and the square through the passage on the first floor does not preclude views in Kohoutovice valley. Socio - cultural hall is the second mass and utilizes existing building of Albert. The area of public space is fleshed out with new masses into more intimate and more graspable form, there is a better public space, the center of the district.

Radnice Brno – Sever / New town hall for the district Brno-North

Franců, Jan January 2015 (has links)
The project design a city town hall for Brno north on the site of today's military barracks. Classical symmetry of the composition of the original building dominates the space above the terrain configuration. The buildings are oriented towards the slope and determine the nature of space. In this constellation any classical building would disturb this order. The volume of the building must be very subtle to preserve the harmony of the original composition. The main volume of the building is located below the surface of the square, however, the building is open towards most exposed corner. Sloping slab fall line is aiming to the city center and Špilberk Castle. The inclination is only 8 degrees to allow safe movement and to preserve the original space. The building preserves the street lines of surrounding blocks, but sloped slab exceeds the corner across the street line to draw attention. Parts of the building, requiring daylight had to be placed above the ground, but to preserve the original space the new volume must be subtle.
