A descrição do trabalho dos servidores administrativos da PMB não foi objeto de estudo desta pesquisa. Foi analisada a morbidade registrada no ambulatório dos servidores municipais, no período de 17 de julho a 04 de dezembro de 1987; foram analisados os Acidentes de Trabalho sofridos pelos servidores municipais nos anos de 1984, 1985, 1986 e 1987. A descrição dos setores braçais revelou que as tarefas executadas na PMB são, majoritariamente, executadas manualmente, sem tecnologia, evidenciando condições potenciais a gerar " acidentes de trabalho" e "posições antiergonômicas" como as condições de risco mais frequentes. O coeficiente de frequência dos Acidentes de Trabalho elevou-se desde 1984, permanecendo semelhante em 1986 e 1987. Os coeficientes de gravidade desses mesmos acidentes elevaram-se desde 1984, sendo o de 1987 1,85 vezes maior que o de 1984 ¿Observação: O resumo, na íntegra poderá ser visualizado no texto completo da tese digital. / Abstract: The general purpose of this work is to describe the labour conditions of the handiworkers of th.e Municipal Prefecture of Botucatu (MPB) while trying o identify the The description of the work done by the administrative staff of the MPB was not object of study in this research. The death rate, registered in the Municipal Workers Ambulatory, during the period between the seventh of June and the fourth of December in 1987, was analysed, as well as, the occupational accidents that happened to the municipal workers in 1984, 1985, 1986 and 1987. Based on the data obtained from the guidelines of the VIII National Conference of Health and the I National Conference of the worker health, the setting in of an Occupacional Health Program aiming at the municipaI workers of the MPB, was proposed. The description of the handiworkers section, revealed that the tasks at the MPB are mosty executed in a manual way, without any technology. This fact projects the "antiergonomic positions" as a very frequent risk condition. The incidence coefficient caused by about accidents,was high since 1984, and it was similar in 1986 and 1987.
