No. of bitstreams: 1 Ana Lourdes Lucena de Sousa.pdf: 1314809 bytes, checksum: d01dc94d59df9c0bca550fa6db95c169 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2014-02-27 / Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico / From the context of social changes and its implications in the context of the public university in contemporary society, the thesis aims to answer the question: How the curricular advances that advertise itselves in innovative educational projects for vocational training in Physiotherapy and practices developed by its members are taking place? Mediated by exploratory qualitative research, the research evaluated two pedagogical projects, one at the Federal University of São Paulo at Campus of Santos and the other at the Federal University of Ceará. The documentary research subsidized the analyzes, the University in the context of Higher Education Reform in Brazil and the evaluation and regulation mechanisms: REUNI, PROUNI, ENEM, FIES, and CONAES. Studies from Rodrigues (2007), Frigotto Ciavatta (2003), Santos (2010), Sguissardi (2009), Bernheim and Chaui (2008) were also employed. The curricular approach was based in Silva (2009), about identity, and Sacristan (2000) on curriculum as praxis. The theme "Innovation" was focused on Masetto (2004, 2009, 2012), Hernandez et.al. (2000) Carbonell (2002), Messina (2001), among others. Referring the studies of Masetto (2012) on innovative processes, we analyzed the data of field research on the perception of coordinators, teachers and students from two universities in relation to the Pedagogical Project and the National Curriculum Guidelines for training in Physiotherapy. The thesis registered the following thoughts: at UNIFESP, the curricular advances of the Physiotherapy Course were made possible mainly by interprofessionality of interdisciplinary base and collective practices experienced in the Pedagogical Project of the institution. At UFC, the advances were effected in the mediation made by the continued formation of the institutional collective, where the integrated curriculum is consolidated in the interdisciplinary actions, in which case the dialogue between research, education and extension happens, as well as in the internship where students work together with other health areas / A partir do quadro de mudanças sociais e suas implicações no contexto da universidade pública na sociedade atual, a tese busca responder a questão: como estão acontecendo os avanços curriculares que se anunciam inovadores nos projetos pedagógicos para formação profissional em Fisioterapia e nas práticas desenvolvidas por seus integrantes?
