In this work, we show that the Gevrey wave front set of order s of u is contained in the characteristic set of the involutive structure generated by the linearized operators associated to the given system. Our approach includes the study of Gevrey approximate solutions, a concept which we believe is of independent interest and could be applied to much more general situations. / Seja u uma solução de classe C2 de um sistema involutivo Gevrey de equações diferenciais parciais não lineares de primeira ordem. Neste trabalho, demonstramos que o conjunto frente de onda Gevrey de ordem s de u está contido no conjunto característico da estrutura involutiva gerada pelos operadores linearizados associados ao sistema dado. Nossa abordagem inclui o estudo de soluções aproximadas Gevrey, um conceito que acreditamos ser de interesse independente, e que pode ser aplicado em situações muito mais gerais.
