De ontem, a partir da espacialização das atividades de comércio e serviços em dois marcos histórico-geográficos, buscando a formação, sustentação ou fragmentação da centralidade urbana no centro da cidade. E de hoje, com a tentativa de identificação de determinantes históricas e econômicas que comparecem no recorte analítico do núcleo da área central ou o core, definida por sua diferenciação no conjunto da cidade pela concentração do capital produtivo e que torna visível a predominância dos equipamentos urbanos públicos e privados de gestão ou controle, a forte especialização do uso do solo para as atividades de comércio e serviços, a convergência da fluidez de produtos, informações e dos transportes. Desse modo, o objetivo desta dissertação é contribuir para análise da produção do espaço urbano de São Luís, articulando a formação histórica da centralidade urbana aos processos espaciais determinantes, a partir da distribuição das atividades de comércio e serviços, identificando no uso do solo urbano suas tendências, tendo como foco o núcleo da área central. (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: The main question of this dissertation was to discuss the dynamics of urban centrality in São Luis yesterday and today. From yesterday, starting from the spatial distribution of trade activities and services in two historical and geographical landmarks, formation, support, fragmentation or even degradation of urban centrality in the city center was searched. And today, in an attempt to identify historical and economic factors that show up in the analytical approach of the core area which is defined by its differentiation throughout the city by the concentration of productive capital that makes the predominance of public and private urban equipments of either management or control, the strong specialization of land use for trade activities and services, the convergence of products and information flow and transport visible. This way, the objective of this study is to contribute to the analysis of the spatial configuration of São Luis, by articulating the historical formation of the urban centrality to the spatial processes determinants, from the distribution of trade activities and services, identifying the urban land use trends, focusing on the core area. Orientador: Maria Encarnação Beltrão Sposito / Banca: Amália Inês Geraiges Lemos / Banca: Marcos Alegre / Resumo: As modificações nas áreas rurais, reflexo das transformações nas relações de produção ocorridas a partir da década de 1970, provocaram mudanças nas estruturas socioeconômicas em escala regional, assim como uma aceleração das mudanças espaciais, sobretudo no que se refere às aglomerações urbanas. Neste contexto, a presente pesquisa analisa as relações demográficas, socioeconômicas e espaciais que se processam atualmente entre as cidades norte-paranaenses de Cambé, Ibiporã, Londrina e Rolândia, as quais compõem a Aglomeração Urbana de Londrina. Estes núcleos urbanos apresentam tamanhos demográficos diferenciados, motivo pelo qual devemos considerar distintos graus de complexidade de suas atividades. Verifica-se que, em um primeiro momento, as pequenas cidades eram responsáveis pelo fornecimento de bens e mercadorias à sua população rural, paulatinamente, foram perdendo esta função. Neste processo, o traçado da rede urbana planejada inicialmente pelos agentes colonizadores, já não atendiam às novas demandas, atravessando um processo de reorganização/refuncionalização, o qual implica também em novos padrões de interações espaciais, os quais são viabilizados pelo aparato técnico implantado na região. Nesse processo o desenvolvimento dos sistemas de transportes e a ampliação das formas de circulação, entre outros fatores, refletiram na intensificação dos fluxos. Se em outro momento a organização hierárquica produzia vetores das cidades menores para as progressivamente maiores e vice versa, reforçando o padrão concêntrico de adensamento econômico e populacional, atualmente existem múltiplas possibilidades de cidades de diferentes padrões se relacionarem. / Abstract: The changes in rural areas, are a reflex from transformations of productions relations occurred since 70þs 20th century, that make some changes in the socioeconomics structure in regional scale, such as acceleration of spatial changes, over all in what refers to urban agglomeration. In this context, this present search analise demographics relations, socioeconomics and spatials that are processed among the cities from the north of Paraná state: Cambé, Ibiporã, Londrina and Rolândia which make what we call Urban Agglomeration from Londrina. These urban centers show different demographic lentgh, reason for what we should consider distincs grades of complexity from its activities. We can check that in a first moment, the small cities were responsable for providing goods to its rural population, gradually, it was losting this purpose. In this process, the plan of urban net firstly planned for the settlers agents, does not serves to the new demand, crossing a process of reorganization/refunctualization, which also involves new models of spatials interactions, that are possible for the techniques established in the region. In this process the development of transportation systems and the enlargement of the circulation forms, among other reasons, reflected in the flowings. If in an other moment the hierarchichy organization produced ways from the small cities to gradually the bigger ones and vice versa, reinforcing the concentric model from economic and populational concentration, actually there are lots of possibilities from cities with different models have some kind of relation. / Mestre

Como consequência, a redefinição das relações entre o público e o privado tem modificado o significado do que é a cidade enquanto lócus da diversidade e confronto entre as diferenças. Essa nova estruturação, marcada por novas práticas socioespaciais, tem gerado dinâmicas de fragmentação socioespacial, o que exige que se observe a articulação entre formas, conteúdos e valores, para se compreender as novas lógicas da produção desigual do espaço urbano e as dimensões do controle social que lhes são atinentes. Com base nestas premissas, esta pesquisa propõe-se a contribuir para o estudo da fragmentação socioespacial, a partir de duas cidades paulistas de porte médio: Marília e São Carlos. Recolheu-se elementos para avaliar em que medida os sujeitos autossegregados destas cidades optam por espaços residenciais fechados e pelo consumo seletivo da cidade, nos quais, estejam presentes aspectos de uma sociabilidade segmentada / Abstract: The current production forms and of appropriation of the urban space has accentuated the tendency of socio-spatial segregation, promoting alterations in the contemporary urban life and in the socio-spatial practices of the city dwellers. Also, the redefinition of the relation between the public and the private has changed the meaning of what is the city, while place of the diversity and confrontation among the differences. This new structuring, marked by new socio-spatial practices, has generated dynamics of socio-spatial fragmentation. This requires an examination the articulation between forms, contents and values, to understand the new logics of the unequal production of the urban space and the dimensions of the social control that are them concerning. Based on this, this research intends to contribute with the study of socio-spatial fragmentation, starting from two middle-size cities, located in São Paulo State: Marília and São Carlos. It was collected elements to evaluate in that measured the subjects self-segregated, in these cities, opt for residential spaces closed and for the selective consumption of the city where present aspects of a segmented sociability be. Orientador: Eliseu Savério Sposito / Banca: Eda Maria Goes / Banca: Oscar Alfredo Sobarzo Miño / Resumo: Este trabalho visa a analisar os novos espaços de consumo na área central de Anápolis, no Estado de Goiás a partir do comércio informal, uma vez que há uma interação entre os diversos espaços produzidos no meio urbano, contribuindo assim, para uma interpretação das práticas existentes na cidade. Nesta perspectiva, discutimos o uso e apropriação de algumas ruas no centro pelos camelôs e ambulantes, além do camelódromo e de um shopping popular que por sua vez comercializa produtos que são adquiridos pelas pessoas que circulam nesses espaços, levando-se em consideração o consumo que cria e recria uma realidade que vislumbra as formas e funções da e na cidade como o espetáculo da (re)produção do capital e como elementos articulados ao processo de (re)produção do espaço urbano em cidades de médio porte. Partimos da idéia de que o centro principal e tradicional redefine seus usos tomando como base as estratégias de localização das atividades ditas informais no seu interior, reafirmando a centralidade urbana expressa no contexto de relações preexistentes, visto que as singularidades das funções envolvem uma avaliação das novas formas de comercialização do setor terciário. Realizamos uma análise desenvolvida mediante o levantamento e revisão bibliográficos, pesquisa de campo e análise dos dados para a compreensão da dinâmica do centro da cidade de Anápolis a partir da atuação do comércio informal. / Abstract: This work seeks to analyze the new consumption spaces in the central area of Anápolis, in the state of Goiás starting from the informal trade, once there is an interaction among the several spaces produced in the urban way, so contributing, for an interpretation of the existent practices in the city. In this perspective, we discussed the use and appropriation of some streets in the center by the street-fakers and travelings besides the street-fakers place and a popular shoppings that for its time markets products that are acquired by the people that circulate in those spaces, being taken in consideration the consumption that creates and (re)creates a reality that shimmers the forms and functions of the and in the city as the show of the capital (re)production and as articulated elements to the process of (re)production of the urban space in medium load cities. We started of the idea that the main and traditional center redefine its uses, taking as base the location strategies of the said informal activities in this interior, reaffirming the centrality expressed in the context of the preexistents relationships, because the singularities of the functions involve an evaluation of the new commercialization ways of the tertiary sector. We accomplished an analysis developed by means of the rising and bibliographical revision, field research and data analysis for the understanding of Anápolis downtown dynamics starting from the informal trade performance. / Doutor
