Orientador: Ucy Soto / Banca: Isadora Valencise Gregolin / Banca: Nildicéia Aparecida Rocha / Resumo: Este estudo tem por objetivo principal apresentar a atividade de ensino-aprendizagem de língua espanhola mediada por videoconferência/teleencuentros. Com isso, são descritas a configuração desta atividade didática e a participação e percepção de parte da comunidade envolvida no processo. Além disso, são avaliadas as potencialidades e as dificuldades que essa modalidade de interação traz para as atividades de sala de aula com ênfase na oralidade nesse novo contexto. Os dados dessa pesquisa foram coletados a partir do desenvolvimento de uma unidade de estudo baseada em um modelo de Educação a Distância. Essa unidade foi aplicada aos alunos matriculados na disciplina Língua Espanhola I, do primeiro semestre do curso de Letras (diurno e noturno) em uma universidade pública do interior de São Paulo. Para a coleta foram utilizados: dois questionários, gravações dos teleencuentros e caderno de notas feito pela professora-pesquisadora. A fundamentação teórica apresenta a Teoria da Atividade (TA), Prahbu (1990, 2000/2001), Kumaravadivelu (1994, 2001), Moore e Kearsley (2007), que orientam a análise da configuração do contexto em questão e os pontos de vista de sujeitos envolvidos. Também são base teórica Tusón Valls (2003) e Dolz et al. (2004), que direcionam as questões sobre o uso do canal oral nas atividades realizadas nos teleencuentros. Com a descrição da configuração dos teleencuentros, concluímos que é possível promover a interação oral nesse contexto, seja ela entre professor-aluno/s, aluno-professor e/ou aluno-aluno, e desenvolver o ensinoaprendizagem de língua espanhola por videoconferência. Foram observados problemas técnicos que não colaboravam com o desenvolvimento dos teleencuentros e que devem ser evitados em possíveis contextos futuros / Abstract: This study aims to describe the activity of teaching and learning of the Spanish language mediated by videoconference/teleencuentros. Herewith, the configuration of this new (?) didactic activity, the participation and the perception of the community involved in the process are described. Moreover, the potentials and the difficulties that this modality of interaction brings to the classroom activities with emphasis in the oral channel in this new context are evaluated. The data of this research were collected from the development of a study unit based on a Distance Learning model. This unit was applied to the students enrolled in Spanish Language I course, of the first semester of Letras (morning and night) in a public university in the state of São Paulo. For the collection, two questionnaires, recordings of the teleencuentros and a notebook made by the teacher-researcher were used. The theoretical framework presents the Activity Theory (AT), Prabhu (1990, 2000/2001), Kumaravadivelu (1994, 2001), Moore and Kearsley (2007), which guide the configuration analysis of the context in question and the points of view of the subjects involved in the process. Tusón Valls (2003) and Dolz et al. (2004), who direct the questions about the use of the oral channel in the activities done in the teleencuentros, are also theoretical basis. With the description of the teleencuentros configuration, we conclude that it is possible to promote the oral interaction in this context, be it in teacher-student/s, student-teacher and/or studentstudent context, and develop the teaching and learning of the Spanish language by videoconference.
