In times of decreasing profits and a low level of economic growth companies are looking for new solutions for their organizational problems. Networks are a very important way to accomplish advantages of intercompany job-sharing and realization of comprehensive synergetic potentials. In this connection dynamic networks are more and more mentioned in scientific papers. One type of these networks is a virtual corporation. A virtual corporation is a temporary network of independent companies. They are linked by information technology in order to share skills, costs and access to one another's markets. The main goal is to execute a wide array of temporary alliances with others in order to grasp specific market opportunities. On the basis of a common business understanding and a distinct culture of trust, the participants provide their core competencies in the form of resources and skills.
