This thesis examines the tourism in the rural space, which can be divided into variety of categories and forms. The main aim of the thesis is above all a detailed analysis of the situation in the municipality Purkarec as a concrete part of the region České Budějovice. Moreover this thesis specifies sights and opions of local inhabitants, businessmen and experts on local tourism. To analysing the tourism in the municipality Purkarec is used the method of the decriptive case study. Data collection and information gethering about the situation in rural space of the municipality Purkarec took a place trough combinations of methods of the qualitative and quantitavie research. On the basis of the field research was discovered attitudes and opinions of particular interviewed categories. The tourism in the area of Purkarec is at the moment rising up which nevertheless doesn?t affect negatively the environment.

Key words: (Dugesia tigrina), ecology, bioindication, predation, Vltava, Prague The main goal of my thesis was the research of occurrence and ecology of planarians of the group Ttricladida in the Vltava River and some brooks flowing through the territory of Prague. The emphasis was given on the non-native North American species - Dugesia tigrina. The research can be divided into field surveys of population size and ecological requirements of planarians and a laboratory experiment, in which I have investigated the predation behavior of planarians. During my fieldwork, which took place from August 22th to November 11th 2009, I have found out that the Dugesia tigrina occurs only in the Vltava river, in six of the nine studied localities. During the research it was not found in the studied brooks. It chooses localities with a natural shoreline, deeper ground, rapid water and it lives in company of mainly Dugesia polychroa. It appeared at moderately polluted places. During the predation experiment, which ran from December 17th 2009 to October 20th 2010 at a temperature of 14 řC and triple repetitions in all mutual combinations of five planarian species, intraspecific cannibalism and frequent asexual reproduction of Dugesia tigrina was comfirmed. The diploma thesis The preparation of an educational pathway Hluboka upon Vltava - Zoo Ohrada deals with compiling of the terrain in the neighbourhood of the Zoo Ohrada, subsequent creating of designs and texts for individual information boards. The Educational pathway is called, "On the dam of the Municky pond". The first part of the diploma thesis describes physical-geographical characteristics of the defined area and the history of building educational pathways in the Czech Republic, their types and classification. One chapter is devoted to building educational pathways and possibilities of their financing. The content of the second part of the diploma thesis is a design of the educational pathway itself, texts about individual stages, suggestions for an arrangement of information on information boards including visual documentation, their marking and realization. Scope of the boards is varied, they provide a lot of information about flora and fauna that can be found in this area and also information about natural and environmental regularities and relationships between organisms. A part of the diploma thesis is also a methodical guide with plenty of games, suggestions and activities to make the course of the educational pathway more interesting. The appendix of the diploma thesis contains fotodocumentation, maps and a set of worksheets wit a key.

The connection between music and architecture was a field of many people all over the world throughout history. Attitude is different in every single way. Someone feels music in architecture through the feelings someone uses exact methods. My way led through the many formal analysis to design my own composing method on the basis of music patterns. The idea for designing my opera house in the capital Prague on the bank of the Vltava river was a symphonic poem written by Bedřich Smetana – Vltava. The tones of the music flow gracefully like a river, from the soft lines of flutes to the orchestra pother. And this is the story of the template for my design, where the river bank escalates to the opera theatre. And this space of opera is curious in some way. It can be changed between performances from opera to the Philharmonie purpose.

The submitted Master's thesis conducts a survey of activities of selected German publishing groups on the Czech public press market. The thesis focuses on activities of the companies: Rheinisch-Bergische Druckerei- und Verlagsgesellschaft, the former owner of the company MAFRA which publishes the daily newspaper Mladá fronta DNES, Verlagsgruppe Passau, the owner of the company VLTAVA-LABE-PRESS which publishes the regional Deník and also the company Verlagsgruppe Handelsblatt which has a share in the company Economia which publishes the newspaper Hospodářské noviny. The topic of this thesis is their arrival to the Czech press market, implementation of new press standards, and changes in structure and functioning of selected newspapers and especially new trends in development of Czech newspapers in 1990s and at the beginning of the 21st century. Apart from examination of origins of the success of German publishing groups on the Czech press market and characteristics of the given period of time, the thesis presents information arising from interviews with executives of selected German publishing groups. CHANGES OF FUNCTIONAL USE SHORE OF ORLICKÁ BARRIER FOCUSING ON RECREATIONAL FUNCTION Abstract The aim of this study is to assess changes in functional use of the shore Orlická barrier in more than fifty-year history this technical bouilding. Orlická barrier holds many functions, for example in energy and control of flows to the river system. A secondary effect is the concentration of tourism and recreation on the banks. In this work, the focus is on analysis recreational function. Other analyse functions are economic function, transport, residential and servises. Of the result of dam construction in the 60s and political changes, there were changes in the functional recovery destination. Currently Orlicko faces many problems that have a negative effect on the influx of visitors and tourists. Apart from analyzing the functional use of the area is part of this paper analysis of structured interviews with mayors, representatives of recreational centers and other actors in the area. The diploma thesis deals with the assessment of investment "Finalization of waterway of Vltava in section České Budějovice {--} Týn nad Vltavou" in the South Bohemia region. The aim of this work is the analysis of the impact of this investment on region from macroeconomic and microeconomic perspectives. The other aim of work is basic presentation of the investment, the progress of cost benefit analysis and identification of benefits, which will be brought by the investment to South Bohemia region.

This thesis is dedicated to the significant change in media ownership in the Czech Republic which occured during the Global crisis in 2008 - 2013. In this period almost all foreign owners sold their media to the local enterpreneurs, who took over almost all media houses. This shift happened under generally less comfortable matket conditions, which have hit mostly the printed media. The local enterpreneurs are naturally much more interested in local politics. This text describes these changes and uncovers the economic reasons that led to it, including the extensive research into publicly available, yet not analysed annual reports of media companies. The conclusion is that the foreign owners generally earned well in the Czech market and that they have decided to use the crisis as a good moment to sell. The arrival of new domestic owners caused worries about their possible interference with kontent and by 2017 there are some hints suggesting that they may use the media against the opponents. But there is a fact that may prevent them: the thesis proves how worth the position on the market is. And this should at least limit these efforts.

Thesis deals with the efficiency of inland waterways in the Czech Republic and its measure which would lead to its greater use. For this precaution is considered a project the Weir in Děčín and without this, the project can not proceed in the construction of other projects in the Czech inland waterways. The first part is devoted to the description of inland waterways as part of the trans-European networks. Furthermore there are institutions in charge of the developement and operation of waterways. Legislation defining the rules to ensure continuity of water transport is also important in the developement and operation. The second part deals with positive relationship between freight water transport and economy of the Czech Republic. I describe in the last chapter of the thesis project the Weir in Děčín and the subsequent project of navigability of the Elbe River to Pardubice and construction of the Danube-Oder-Elbe.

This work evaluates evolution changes of socio-economical structure and Territorial System of Ecological Stability (ÚSES) in Territory Zone. Territory Zone is meant nearer surround of river dam Hněvkovice, that is used for needs of technological water in JETE (nuclear power station Temelín). There can be found villages Buzkov, Dobřejovice, Hroznějovice, Jaroslavice, Jeznice, Kostelec, Litoradlice, Poněšice, Pořežany, Purkarec and Třitim. This work also solves evolution of number of population, age structure and employment from 1982 to 2001 as well as other specific development factors of this territory. The part of this work is the KES (Coefficient of the Ecological Stability) of the territory before and after the Hněvkovice dam was built. The basic characteristics of whole territory and list of historical interests is also important.
