Modifikace charakteru rozhraní substrát-nástřik vrstev deponovaných technologiemi žárového nanášení pomocí technologie elektronového paprsku / Modification of coating-substrate interface character of thermally sprayed coatings using electron beam technologyMareš, Jiří January 2015 (has links)
Adheze nástřiků v as sprayed stavu byla kvantifikována. V případě nástřiků modifikovaných elektronovým paprskem přesná kvantifikace nebyla možná, z důvodu předčasného porušení na rozhraní nástřik-adhezivní pojivo během adhezních testů. Read more

Analýza rizik vodovodu obce Hrádek u Sušice / Risk analysis of the Hradek water supply systemHofmannová, Lenka January 2016 (has links)
The diploma thesis is focused on risk analysis of water supply system in a small community. The WaterRisk project was solved by using tools of risk management including risk identification and quantification in the field of public water supply systems. Methodology and software for the risk management of water supply were evolved by using this project. In this thesis there is applied the methodology to the water supply system of Hradek village. The hydraulic analysis was performed for a thorough knowledge of water supply and its characteristic behavior. Risk analysis could be performed thanks to the knowledge of the entire system, its working and the most common faults. Analysis results are evaluated and compared for the water supply system which is consider like a system simple and complex. The corrective actions eliminate number of risks. These actions were proposed like a part of complex methodology. Further, there were determined optimal costs which corresponds with these corrective actions.

Hospodaření s vodou v územním plánu / Water management in a physical planPospíšilová, Nikola January 2020 (has links)
The Master's thesis responds to the current challenge of the Czech landscape - reflecting its adaptation to climate change. At the local level, according to Czech legislation, the instrument forming the landscape should be primarily the physical plan, which was therefore selected as the subject of interest for this work. The work examines the possibilities of the physical plan in the field of water management by means of a case study focused on five municipalities in Vysocina region. The aim of this work is to verify whether spatial planning in the Czech environment responds to climate change, and thus whether it participates in responsible landscape water management. Firstly, the work analyzes the expected climate changes, their impact on the Czech landscape and approaches of society to these changes. Another part of the work is devoted to spatial planning, its tools and possibilities in the formation of landscape. In the practical part of the work, two qualitative research methods are used. The first is a semantic analysis of municipal spatial plans, the second chosen method are semi-structured interviews with representatives of public administration. The results of both methods show that the physical plan rather permits water management. Near natural measures are in the physical plans expressed... Read more

Automatizace řešení zásobní funkce vodohospodářské soustavy / Automation Solution of Storage Function of Water Management SystemMenšík, Pavel January 2012 (has links)
The impact of climate changes on various sectors of human activity and preparation of mitigation and adaptation measures are becoming an important subject of global policy, thus also the policy of the Czech Republic. According to the research results, the impact of climate changes on minimum discharges is very significant and indicates a threat to storage function of water sources, without adequate accumulation for period of drought. One of the ways of preventing or completely avoiding the appearance of these problems is the construction of new reservoirs or the re-evaluation of the size of the storage and protective capacity of existing reservoirs. In relation to climate changes and their impact on the water yield there is a growing need for the participation of operative control progressive methods of reservoir storage function today. The dissertation thesis is aimed at storage function of water management system. Aim of the dissertation work is to create program with graphical user interface, which allows solving the storage function of water management system. Program allows automatically set up optimization and simulation model of any water supply system and solve of optimal control and optimal development of the water supply system. The program was verified on the selected water supply subsystem. Read more

From the Old to the New World: The Transformation of Kongo Minkisi in African American ArtMcCurnin, Mary 18 April 2010 (has links)
Minkisi (sing. nkisi) were sacred objects that housed ancestral spirits and were used for divination, healing and social justice by the Kongo people of Central Africa. When the Kongo were brought as slaves to the New World, they contributed significantly to the development of African American artistic and spiritual culture. In the Caribbean, aspects of minkisi have been retained in the creolized spiritual beliefs of Haitian Vodou, Cuban Palo Monte Mayombe and Brazilian Candomble. In North America, evidence of Kongo influence is apparent in examples of folk art and culture, including quilts, mojo hands, Afro-Carolinian face vessels, memory jugs and burial sites. In the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, artists appear to have recontextualized elements of minkisi within their work, among these James “Son Ford” Thomas, James Van Der Zee, Betye and Alison Saar, Willie Cole and Renee Stout, creating a link between the Kongo past and the American present.

Vodohospodářská infrastruktura / Water management infrastructureSvoboda, Martin January 2017 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is to analyze the forms of ownership of the water supply infrastructure in terms of its operation, the number of operators and the impact assessment on the drinking water price for end customers. All this with a view to assessing whether it is appropriate to ensure the operation with private entities or to have municipalities operate the water management infrastructure separately. The analysis unambiguously confirms that the current number of owners and operators exceeding 9 thousand companies is unnecessarily harmful to the effective management of this area. Quantitative research shows that only 52 companies provide a full 97% of the volume of invoiced water. At the same time, economic analysis proves that the efficiency of the economy is not determined by ownership but by effective management. The result of this work is the confirmation that the water price is primarily influenced by the place of drinking water supply, long-term sustainable development of the water supply infrastructure area and effective management of an adequate number of companies.
