La première partie de ce mémoire est constituée d’un roman faisant le récit d’une jeune femme de 24 ans en pleine crise existentielle qui, du jour au lendemain, se retrouve au Salvador afin de prendre du recul sur sa vie. À travers ses aventures où la jeunesse et l’insouciance sont à l’honneur, des réflexions profondes sur ce qui l’a amenée à fuir, et sur sa définition du bonheur, ne cessent de lui rappeler que cette pause ne durera pas éternellement. Ce roman fragmenté entre Le voyage et L’avant ouvre une fenêtre sur une génération qui tente de tracer sa place d’un trait coloré dans un monde où tout a été pensé en noir et blanc. La partie réflexive du mémoire porte sur la place que prennent les nouvelles technologies de l’information et de la communication (TIC) dans la littérature de voyage contemporaine. Pour faire référence au roman qui précède, la fuite, comme motif du voyage et thématique centrale de la recherche, sera mise en relation avec la réalité du 2.0, pour étudier les divers effets que les réseaux sociaux, téléphones intelligents et autres TIC ont sur la concrétisation de cette évasion. / The first part of this memoir consists of a novel telling the story of a 24-yearold woman in the middle of an existential crisis who, from one day to the next, finds herself in El Salvador to take a step back from her life. Through her adventures where youth and carelessness are honored, deep reflections on what led her to flee, and on her definition of happiness, keep reminding her that this break will not last forever. This novel fragmented between ‘’Le Journal’’ and ‘’L’avant’’ opens a window on a generation that tries to trace its place with color in a world that was meant to be black and white. The reflective part of the thesis focuses on the role of new information and communication technologies (ICTs) in contemporary travel literature. To make reference to the preceding novel, flight, as a motive for travel and a central theme of research, will be related to the reality of 2.0, to study the various effects that social networks, smart phones and other ICTs have on the concretization of this escape.
