Modernizace zdravotně technických instalací budov sportovního střediska / Plumbing Systems Modernization for Sport Centre Buildings

Kohutek, Ivo January 2015 (has links)
This thesis deals with the reconstruction of sanitary installations in the multi-purpose sports facility STARS in Třinec. It is a large complex with an administration building. The theoretical part is focused on heating and distribution of hot water. It considers multiple solutions to the problem. The practical part then deals in depth with one of the discussed options in a selected few buildings.

Optimal design of photovoltaic water pumping systems for rural communities – a technical, economic and social approach / Conception optimale des systèmes photovoltaïques de pompage d’eau pour les communautés rurales - une approche technique, économique et sociale

Meunier, Simon 06 December 2019 (has links)
Photovoltaic water pumping systems (PVWPS) are an interesting solution to improve access to water in rural communities of developing countries. This thesis develops a methodology for the optimal design of PVWPS for domestic consumption based on an interdisciplinary approach. The objective is to determine the sizings of the PVWPS and its geographical positions in the village that maximize the positive impact of the system on socio-economic development and minimize its life-cycle cost. This methodology is applied to the case of a rural village in Burkina Faso, where we have been collecting technical and socio-economic data for 2 years. The first main originality of this work is the modelling of the link between the design of a PVWPS and its socio-economic impact, which allows to include the socio-economic impact to be included as an objective function of the optimisation. The second main originality is the inclusion of the geographical position of the PVWPS in the village as an optimisation variable, in addition to the sizing of the system. There is potential for applying the proposed methodology for the set-up of other types of systems such as community mills powered by photovoltaic energy in isolated areas and public charging points for electrical vehicles in cities.

No. of bitstreams: 1 arquivototal.pdf: 2752063 bytes, checksum: 886fc73f7f66099f1e033937798f6b7e (MD5) Previous issue date: 2016-02-29 / This paper presents a block diagram modeling of a grid-independent photovoltaic power generation system, including the steps of DC regulation, voltage inversion, and control system based on dynamic simulations in Simulink / Matlab® exclusively using the built-in blocks available in its library. A well-known technique in literature called MPPT (maximum power point tracking) was used for tracking the maximum power of the photovoltaic generation. However, the control that was used to maintain a constant output voltage of the Push-Pull is based on a method that is similar to the MPPT, which configures a novelty of this research. The integration of modeling the entire PV system with these control systems is carried out in Simulink for investigaton and production of simulation results. An experimental platform that includes an emulator of photovoltaic panels, a 1 kW Push-Pull converter, a three-phase inverter with three arms and a hydraulic load constituided by a motor-pump was built in the laboratory. The experimental results corroborate the methodology that was used.

Dendrochronologie vybraných autochtonních dřevin na gradientech prostředí / Dendrochronology of representative autochtonnous tree species on environmental and temporal gradients

ČEJKOVÁ, Alžběta January 2012 (has links)
This thesis is focused on application methods of dendrochronology on various ecological and historical aspects of forest communities, human management practices, and historical utilization of wood. Studies revealed growth responses of trees in various type of forest vegetation represented by spruce forest, alder carr and alluvial forests and involved autochthonous tree species with all morphological types of wood. These works demonstrated necessity of dynamic evolving of the regional chronologies for the Czech Republic.
