(in English): The diploma thesis deals with the topic of destigmatization efforts as a task of social workers in selected organizations. Its aim is to describe the destigmatization efforts of social workers, focusing on individual attributes of destigmatization efforts and mapping the possible opportunities and pitfalls that social workers most often encounter in the long-term effort to eliminate stigma in people with mental illness. In this work we will cooperate with selected organizations whose target group are people with mental illness. The theoretical part brings a comprehensive view of mental illness, a description of the system of care for people with mental illness,and presents the issue of destigmatization efforts in the Czech Republic, including a description of destigmatization elements and campaigns that support this effort. At the same time, this part of the thesis describes the area of stigmatization of people with mental illness, manifestations of stigmatizing behavior in the public and social workers or generally the role of social workers in working with this target group. Orientador: Cirlene Aparecida Hilário da Silva Oliveira / Resumo: O trabalho profissional dos assistentes sociais nos múltiplos espaços ocupacionais deve basear-se num princípio ético primordial: a defesa intransigente de Direitos Humanos. A concepção de Direitos Humanos ainda é algo muito vago dentro das inúmeras categorias profissionais e no âmbito acadêmico e sua efetivação mostra-se como um desejo utópico em contextos sociais como o brasileiro, no qual houve a naturalização das desigualdades e da violação de direitos elementares à sobrevivência humana. Muitas destas disparidades entre os indivíduos são baseadas em ações discriminatórias que sobrepõem determinadas populações em detrimentos de outras. Indivíduos advindos de camadas sociais mais vulnerabilizadas sofrem, diariamente, as consequências das injustiças sociais, as quais são provenientes da penalização do modo como estas pessoas vivem. Em casos específicos como encarcerados e egressos do Sistema Prisional, a garantia de Direitos Humanos é transfigurada, pelo senso comum, em privilégios para bandidos, requerendo um esforço ainda maior dos profissionais que atuam na defesa e efetivação de direitos a esta população. (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: The professional work of social workers in multiple occupational spaces must be based on a primordial ethical principle: the uncompromising defense of Human Rights. The conception of Human Rights is still very vague within the numerous professional categories and in the academic scope , and its concretization shows itself as a utopian desire in social contexts such as the Brazilian one, in which there was the naturalization of inequalities and the violation of elementary rights to human survival. Many of these imparities between individuals are based on discriminatory actions that overlap particular populations at the expense of others. Individuals from more vulnerable social strata suffer the consequences of social injustice daily, which comes from the penalization of how these people live. In specific cases as incarcerated and ex-prisoners of the Prison System, the guarantee of Human Rights is transfigured, by the common sense, into privileges for bandits, requiring an even greater effort of the professionals who act in the defense and effectiveness of the rights of this population. In decade of 1990 there was in Brazil adhesion to the neoliberal politics what configured a new organization of work and a new performance of the State. Inside this context, it was accomplished the Counter-Reforms with emphasis in the privatizations, reform of the Social Security and of the device of the Brazilian State, among other actions. Particularly, in Social Service reforms brought profound consequences for the Social workers of INSS, among it: reduction of professionals and in his institutional space. This study situates the Social Worker of Social Security in front of the contemporary modifications in the world of work as well as in front of the consequences come upon of the Counter-Reforms implemented and executed by the neoliberal governments in the country of way the of frame and to enter to the globalized world and the new order of the capital. The topic of this work - social work in palliative care - is very up-to-date because in the last three years, thanks to the "Together until the end" program of the Avast Foundation Fund, specialized palliative care has been introduced in eighteen Czech hospitals, which is a response to the fact that 78% of the citizens of the Czech Republic die in healthcare facilities. The goal of the thesis was to answer the research question: "How do social workers at the Central Military Hospital in Prague who have experience with clients in the terminal stage of illness describe the means to achieve the goals of social work in palliative care in the hospital?" To find out the answer to this question, we have used the Grounded theory research method and realized a research in the CMH in Prague. The main findings of the research consist in describing the objectives of social work in palliative care in the hospital as understood by the respondents, and in the description of the means used to achieve these goals and the links between them. These objectives are: the client's wishes and the quality of life with dignified dying and among the means is the relationship between the social worker, the client and the family; social counselling and family care. The diploma thesis is called Social Events as an impulse to study social work. The thesis consists of two parts. The first part is theoretical and the second part is research. The theoretical part tries to map the personality of social workers and their motives for the study. The second part is research, where I tried to find out the motivation to study social work.

(in English): The aim of the diploma thesis is to map the form, development and direction of social work in the Central Military Hospital in Prague. In the theoretical part, the diploma thesis deals with the development of social work in the Central Military Hospital, as well as the role of the health and social worker, thein competencies and thein preconditions for the performance of social work in the hospital. The diploma thesis captures the methods of social work used in the Central Military Hospital in Prague and the scope of work of a health and social worker. The practical part of the work finds out how the participating social workers perceive, experience and evaluace the possibilities and processes of social work in ÚVN. This part of the diploma thesis is a qualitative research, carried out by semi-structured interview with persons who are directly involved in the performance of social work, supplemented by case studies.
