In some, of them, the logaritms are considered essential and in others they are facilitators of calculations. In this work we present a brief historical research of logarithms, through the leading mathematicians involved and their contributions. Additionally, we define logarithms and we indicate their properties. In spotlight, we present possibilities for integration of logarithms with other mathematical content and with various other areas of knowledge. Finally we present how the UEPG (Universidade Estadual de Ponta Grossa) has addressed the issue in his last college entrance exams. / Os logaritmos possuem inúmeras aplicações na Matemática e em outras áreas do conhecimento. Em algumas eles são considerados essenciais e em outras, eles são facilitadores de cálculos. Neste trabalho apresentamos um pequeno levantamento histórico dos logaritmos, passando pelos principais matemáticos envolvidos e suas contribuições. Adicionalmente, definimos logaritmos e indicamos suas propriedades. Em destaque, apresentamos possibilidades de integração dos logaritmos com outros conteúdos matemáticos e com diversas outras áreas do conhecimento. Finalmente apresentamos a forma como a UEPG (Universidade Estadual de Ponta Grossa) tem abordado o assunto em seus últimos vestibulares.
