Problém splnitelnosti omezení a univerzální algebra / Constraint Satisfaction Problem and Universal Algebra

The thesis consists of a collection of my contributions to universal algebra. Motivated by the Constraint Satisfaction Problem (CSP), we study the algebras of polymorphisms of relational structures. We begin by showing by an algebraic argument (and a bit of calculus) that random relational structures' CSP is almost always NP-complete. We then study digraphs with a Maltsev polymorphism, and conclude that such digraphs must also have a majority polymorphism. Next, we show how to use absorption tech- niques to prove that congruence modular reflexive digraphs must have an NU operation. We close our work by giving an algebraic proof of a result (first obtained by graph theorists) that 3-conservative relational structures with only unary and binary relations either define NP-complete CSP, or CSP for them can be solved by the local consistency algorithm. 1

There is a calculation , a proposal and a realisation of the experimental unit for clearing the biogas performed.

The PHD thesis is focused on the absorption with chemical reaction on the pilot plant gas/liquid scrubber. The performance characterization of the apparatus is based on the absorption of carbon dioxide in to the 1\% sodium hydroxide sollution and includes pressure drops, liquid holdup, gas/liquid contact time and the capture effectiveness as well. The experimantal part of the thesis includes a complex of mathematical equations based on the Film theory. The complex of the mathematical equations allowed a calculation of the overall mass transfer coefficient for the type of the gas scrubber at the given experimental conditions.

Prof. Přemysl Mladěnka, Pharm.D., Ph.D. Title of diploma thesis: Pharmacokinetics of flavanones The aim of the work was to summarize the available information regarding the fate of the flavanones in the human organism. These flavonoids are a common part of human diet, and therefore oral administration is the most relevant and examined. There are many obstacles in the digestive tract which are lowering their absorption. Flavanones in human food occur mainly in the form of glycosides, and therefore must be deglycosylated by the β- glucosidase enzyme family. Aglycones are absorbed mainly in the small intestine. Flavonoids in the form of non-cleavable glycosides (e.g., rutinosides) are absorbed in the distal parts of the digestive system, after cleavage of the sugar component by intestinal bacteria. They also decompose the flavanone ring. This leads to substances with a phenylpropionic structure which can be absorbed. In general, flavanones are subject to extensive metabolism by cytochrome P450, not only in the liver but also in the enterocytes, which greatly limits their bioavailability. The diploma thesis is devoted to the separation of a pollutant (NH3) from a water solution using an experimental technology device - membrane contactor. The theoretical part is mostly focused on the recent progress in the field of membrane contactors. The theoretical part also contains theory of absorption, chemisorption and microreactions, which is needed to understand the subject properly. The experimental part focuses on the construction of the experimental device and what does experimental device consist of. The efficiency of the device in transfer of ammonia to an nitrate salt of nitric acid solution was tested. At the end, experimental data are further discussed.

This diploma thesis deals with the separation process of air polutant on air scrubber. Absorption of carbon dioxide was carried out into 1 % solution of sodium hydroxide. Theoretical part is aimed at mass transportation, theory of absorption and examples of scrubbers. Experimental part focuses on some operating characteristics of scrubber and on optimisation of two-phase flow. The influence of hydrodynamic conditions on the absorption efficiency was found.

The present thesis attempts at an overview of DC methods used for diagnosing electrical isolation systems. It investigates the problem of small currents and how to measure them. Part of the thesis deals with building a workstation designed for long-term monitoring of absorbing characteristics of dielectric materials and it also presents a layout of a workstation used for measuring recovery voltage. Both workplaces are computer-automated using the VEE Pro application provided by Hewlett-Packard. Tests were performed on both workstations and the obtained results were processed in a test report as specified under ČSN IEC 93. During the experiment, every effort was made to ensure and monitor the atmospheric conditions of the measuring process.
