This thesis deals with one of the fresh trend in media production which caught attention of both scholars and laic public. It concerns phenomenon of hyper local media. Theoretical base of this work lies in appropriation of "locality"as a distinctive attribute in terms of globalization processes. It operates with such terms as spatio- temporal changes, localization, globalization, human and place, authority and social integrity trying to contextualize these terms with media studies. Further it attempts to enlighten what are hyper local media, where can we find its roots in the field of journalism, how do they work and which advantages and disadvantages they have. Research part of the thesis studies particular Czech hyper local project of PPF Investment Company combining case study and quantitative content analysis. Main intention is to find out whether the concept of hyper local journalism is sustainable in Czech media landscape (and under which conditions) and whether it has got working business model. We are also interested in its ability of capturing and keeping new audience and delivering the different content in comparison with another available and comparable media. This diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of a security solution that was recently deployed by a British company renting office space. This validation system is based on a database of MAC addresses, a database of clients and active filtering of connected devices. The first part explains the concepts of computer network, VLAN and basic concepts needed to understand the function of dynamic assignment of VLAN and IP addresses. The second part is devoted to measurements based on hypotheses, according to which measures are proposed in the last part to solve these security problems.

This diploma thesis deals with switching components of modern communication networks. A switch architecture focused on the quality of service is described in this paper and there are two switch models designed and simulated in the simulating program MATLAB-SIMULINK. The first model is based on classic switching and the other one is controlled by neural network. A laboratory exercise suitable for communication networks education is created in this paper on the basis of designed models.

The aim of my master’s thesis is a system for control of the light intensity. It is electronic equipment which controls the intensity of the light circuits based on settings and input signals. This equipment could work on single-phase systems or multiphase systems. The equipment is controlled by the signal DMX-512 which is a standard for the control of lighting technologies. The set up of this equipment is based on a personal computer or in a limited form by a small connected display.

Switch Optimization in a Converged Network thesis discusses the role of the Ethernet switch in the network. It describes differences between the switch and the hub in the network and the impacts on the collision domain size. In the converged network, priority data switching according to their origin and thus the qualitative point of view is also addressed - e-mails, voice services and multimedia will each behave differently. A real element, switch L3 - a switch with services quality support - is mentioned. The tool Matlab - Simulink is briefly described and a functional simplified model of the ethernet switch was created. Furthermore, the topic was used as a theme for a laboratory task in the subject Services of Telecommunication Networks. A model for Simulink and an example of the laboratory protocol for the created task are attached to the thesis.

This thesis deals with the design and construction of the meteorological station. The meteorological station is designed and constructed to be able to measure the basic meteorological parameters (temperature, humidity, air pressure) and the other three variables (measuring rainfall, wind speed, wind direction). This thesis will introduce you to meteorology. Meteorology determines the daily weather forecast and the results are used for examples in aviation or maritime affairs. The method of atmospheric origin is given in the theoretical part. Meteorology must use measuring instruments to determine quantities. The dissertation also includes analysis of the measuring instruments. The meteorological station uses the Ethernet technology. In the chapter devoted to Ethernet are described its principles, types and method of power supply over Ethernet. The following section describes the design of the entire meteorological station, selection of all components and description of their connection. The chapter about implementation contains a description of the parts which forms program part of the meteorological station. The aim of the thesis is a summary of the achieved results including price comparison of the renovated meteorological station with other meteorological stations, which can be normally bought.

The thesis is focused on the topic of virtual cryptocurrency Bitcoin. The theoretical part is divided into several chapters. First of all, there is a chapter containing basic information about the currency's history, its development to the present, as well as principles of operation of this currency. Because it is a currency based on cryptographic principles next chapter summarizing cryptographic techniques, which is necessary to know for subsequent analysis of this currency. In other parts is elaborated a detailed analysis of the principles of Bitcoin. The main point of this analysis is a system of transactions, decentralized history, then joining the transactions into blocks and in the end creating blockchain. It also explains the principle of P2P networks. The practical part of this work focuses on the analysis and design of payment applications for mobile devices. There used open-source libraries such BitcoinJ. The application is developed in Java programming language with plugin for portable devices, which work under the operating system Android. For the purposes of analysis and design of graphical user interface is used UML diagrams. The specification of the UML diagrams was utilized by freely available graphics software and the result is also included in this work.

This diploma thesis is focused on study of cognitive and communicative phenomena, which appear at solving exercises in semantic and arithmetic environment First-Grade Students' Stepping. These phenomena are revealed by a set of quantitative analysis experiments undertaken with first-grade pupils. Theoretical basis, which make the description of revealed phenomena possible, are generic model theory and semantic embedding of number (Hejný), procept theory (Gray and Tall), mathematical schema building theory (Hejný) and didactic constructivism, structural and semantic conception of number, process, concept, procept.

Master’s thesis deals with implementation of a European standard DATEX II. This standard specifies the data format for information transmission in road transport. The road traffic is flowing streams of current information. For the work was selected network of meteorological stations, which will publish the measured data, ie weather conditions of road transport. Measured data will be available to consumers in the format DATEX II. Implementation will be operational in its entirety meteorological station from design to the actual web service that will produce data information for consumers.
