La agricultura es uno de los sectores más importantes alrededor del mundo, cuya demanda va en aumento cada año. El objetivo de este estudio de investigación surgió del interés de analizar la gestión de la cadena de suministro en el sector de agricultura y proponer un diseño de mejora de esta gestión de un caso de estudio de pequeños agricultores productores de zapallo. Para poder llegar a cumplir este objetivo, se aplicó herramientas de Lean Supply Chain, especialmente el mapa de flujo de valor (VSM) para poder identificar y comparar las actividades de toda la cadena de suministro en un estado actual y futuro. Esta propuesta tiene como finalidad poder reducir los tiempos logísticos y alcanzar niveles de exportación en la organización. / Agriculture is one of the most important sectors around the world, whose demand is increasing every year. The objective of this research study arose from the interest of analyzing supply chain management in the agriculture sector and proposing an improvement design for this management of a case study of small pumpkin producers. In order to achieve this objective, Lean Supply Chain tools were applied, especially the value flow map (VSM) to be able to identify and compare the activities of the entire supply chain in a current and future state.
