Utváření představ a osvojování vybraných konceptů používaných při sestavování programů s testovacími podmínkami na 1. stupni ZŠ / Examining the formation of ideas and learning about some programming concepts in the primary schoolČuma, Radek January 2018 (has links)
This diploma thesis maps pupils' understanding about a functional principle of using commands along with testing conditions (IF, IF - THEN, REPEAT - UNTIL, etc.) when creating algorithms. The main aim of the thesis is to design and implement a set of lessons and a teaching approach based on a theory about learning of algorithmic concepts at primary education for pupils (aged in 9-11) with the intention of verifying a functionality of designed teaching procedures and their possible impacts on pupils' understanding. Data was collected through continuous monitoring of pupils' behavioural characteristics, progress and solution of chosen tasks, video recordings of task solving within the suggested unplugged activities, using a virtual tool Code.org for monitoring of a pupils' progress, audio recordings of interview with pupils, and photographs capturing a creation of own blocks of commands set up by a transcription from pupils' mother language into a machine language (programming language) have all been used for a verification process of the designed teaching approach. By combining the acquired data sets, adjustments of these procedures have been made in order to eliminate the most frequent problems that pupils have encountered during teaching. The case study findings revealed that it is important for...

Algoritmizovaný grafický design / Algorithm driven graphic designKabilka, Richard January 2020 (has links)
The diploma thesis inquires into the use of A.I. - artificial intelligence in the field of graphic design. This thesis aims to describe the current state of A.I. use and algorithmization in graphic design and, based on the conducted study, to evaluate the potential of this type of tool and possible impacts on graphic design. The theoretical section will introduce basic principles and concepts of graphic design and its relationship with art and technology, based on professional literature and current research. Furthermore, it will describe the current possibilities and specializations of artificial intelligence. Findings from these two chapters will serve as a framework for critical evaluation of the currently available A.I. driven tools for graphic design. In the research section, a quantitative study utilizing a questionnaire will be conducted among the professional public and examine the opinions and experiences of Czech graphic designers with tools for design automatization. Its results will be used to test the formulated hypotheses utilizing appropriate statistical methods.

Algoritmizace sociálních sítí a její percepce očima mládeže / Algorithmization of social networking sites and its perception by adolescentsHegedüš, Tomáš January 2021 (has links)
The diploma thesis Algorithmization of social networks and its perception by adolescents deals with the issue of algorithms which lead to personalization of social networks. Their perception by children and adolescents is currently not sufficiently explored. In the theoretical part, I demonstrate how the current studies examine the perception of algorithms on a sample of the entire population, in the context of adolescents how they focus on social networks as a whole. Therefore, the ambition of this thesis is to research the intersection of these three spheres and its impact on adolescent's perception of algorithmisation of social networks. Through qualitative research using the method of semi-structured interviews, this thesis outlines trends that may prevail in this area. An analytical synthesis of knowledge also answers the questions of how adolescents are informed about the possibilities of influencing the selection and sorting of the content and whether they show interest in these possibilities. In the theoretical part, I introduce readers of this work to the issue of new media, how social media developed, including their convergence. Among the researched social networks are Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. To understand the comparison of reality and the statements of the respondents, in the...

Interakce proudící tekutiny a elastického tělesa / Fluid-structure interactionKosík, Adam January 2016 (has links)
In this thesis we are concerned with the numerical simulation of the in- teraction of compressible viscous flow and an elastic structure in 2D. For the elastic deformation we use a 2D linear model and nonlinear St. Venant- Kirchhoff and neo-Hookean models. The flow is described by the compressible Navier-Stokes equations written in the arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian (ALE) form in order to take into account the time-dependence of the flow domain. The discretization of both the flow problem and the elasticity problem is re- alized by the discontinuous Galerkin finite element method (DGM). We focus on testing the DGM applied to the solution of the flow and elasticity prob- lems. Furthermore, we discuss the coupling algorithm and the technique, how to deal with the deformation of the computational domain for the fluid flow problem. Our work is motivated by the biomedical applications. Numerical experiments include numerical simulation of vibrations of human vocal folds induced by the compressible viscous flow.

Grafický výukový systém / Graphical Educational SystemHotař, Roman January 2010 (has links)
The purpose of this thesis is the proposal of the issue of education software for learning algorithms. Work approach to the problem, both from a theoretical point of view, of education and learning to new things, so and more important from a practical point of view for introduction to the process algorithmization. It also discusses the problem of learning algorithms in Czech schools and describes the resulting program, which was created along with this thesis. Contribution of this thesis is the summary of the requirements for the software and implementing software of this type, where is possible to demonstrate the problems and requirements of the draft programs of this kind. This thesis also describes the reactions of teachers to created application.

Parazitické hlasy a protetická já: Detekce post-lyrického subjektu v dílech současné digitální literatury / Parasitic Voices and Prosthetic Selves: Detecting the Post-Lyrical Subject in the Works of Contemporary Digital LiteratureSuchánek, Tomáš January 2021 (has links)
This diploma thesis explores subjectivity in the domain of so-called digital writing, that is, in texts of largely experimental nature generated by computer algorithms (or with their assistance). In order to do so, the thesis briefly covers the history of digital writing, its mediatic specificities, poetics as well as various theoretical and philosophical conceptualizations. Most importantly, it undertakes an analysis of a post-lyrical subject, a concept devised by Janez Strehovec, that is common to all cases of generative writing under focus. For its comparative analysis, the thesis deals with the recent works from contemporary creators who approach algorithmic textuality from variegated perspectives, incl. Nick Montfort, Allison Parish, Stephanie Strickland, Li Zilles, and Jörg Piringer. Texts generated by programs are conceived of as expressing a new, parasitic and prosthetic, genus of cyber-textual subjectivity that defies the traditional lyric and expands its pool "by other means," as Marjorie Perloff would say. Such a tendency results in conceptually as well as formally complex literary corpus "infected" by - to further exploit the suggested metaphor - parasitic voices and prosthetic selves. Unlike in generic lyric, the post- lyrical subject surpasses the confines of poetry as genre; it is...
