Ant Colony Optimization: Implementace a testování biologicky inspirované optimalizační metody

Havlík, Michal January 2015 (has links)
Havlík, M. Ant Colony Optimization: Implementation and testing of bio-inspired optimization method. Diploma thesis. Brno, 2015. This thesis deals with the implementation and testing of algorithm Ant Colony Optimization as a representative of the family of bio-inspired opti-mization methods. A given algorithm is described, analyzed and subsequently put into context with the problems which can be solved. Based on the collec-ted information is designed implementation that solves the Traveling sale-sman problem. Implementation contains graphical user interface to track the algorithm. Implementation is further optimized using parallel programming and other methods. Finally the implementation compared and summarized results.

Návrh kamerového systému pro detekci polohy karoserie automobilu / Design of a vision system for localization of a car body

Hvížďala, Jan January 2014 (has links)
This work is dealing with creation of suitable system for positioning of car body in the 3D space. In this work is described process of choosing of suitable software and hardware and creation process of mathematical algorithm for calibration and positioning of each car body. For successful completing was necessary to design simulation 3D model, on which were all algorithms tested and then applied on sealing lines.

Využití přibližného počítání v oblasti zpracování obrazu / Application of Approximate Computing in Image Processing

Hruda, Petr January 2020 (has links)
This master thesis focuses on approximate computing applied to image processing. Specifically, the approximation is applied to adaptive thresholding. Two approaches were used, the design of a new system using approximated components and the approximation of an existing algorithm. The resulting effect on thresholding quality was investigated. Experimental evaluation of the first approach shows quality improvements of thresholding with usage of aproximated components. Also, area of found aproximated solutions is smaller. Evaluation of the second approach shows worse quality of thresholding with usage of aproximated components. The second approach is then declared inappropriate.

Genetické algoritmy / Genetic Algorithms

Miček, David January 2009 (has links)
This thesis presents description of Genetic algorithm. The description begins with theory of complexity and following basic theory of genetic algorithm. Next part explains the principle of all three tasks – travelling salesman problem, knapsack problem and evolution of algorithm for five-in-a-row. The main focus was on developing the algorithm for five-in-a-row. The results were tested with other similar algorithms from internet. In case of travelling salesman problem and knapsack problem, the results were compared with gradient optimization methods.

Využití simulačního modelu na vývoj automatického algoritmu pro tvorbu routovací tabulky a ohodnocení cesty v dopravníkovém systému / Use of a simulation model for the development of an automatic algorithm for creating a routing table and path evaluation in a conveyor system

Weyrová, Dominika January 2021 (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with the use of a simulation model for the development of an automatic algorithm for the creation of a routing table and route evaluation in a transport system. It includes a search of modeling and simulation issues and state-space search issues with an analysis of available search methods. The simulation model of the transport system is created in the software Tecnomatix Plant Simulation, where an algorithm for automatic creation of routing tables for routing and evaluation of routes according to static criteria is subsequently developed and tested. The work presents a proposal for the principle of the algorithm for evaluating the routes of the transport system, including dynamic criteria and their optimization.

Optimální odhad stavu modelu navigačního systému / Optimal state estimation of a navigation model system

Papež, Milan January 2013 (has links)
This thesis presents an investigation of the possibility of using the fixed-point arithmetic in the inertial navigation systems, which use the local level navigation frame mechanization equations. Two square root filtering methods, the Potter's square root Kalman filter and UD factorized Kalman filter, are compared with respect to the conventional Kalman filter and its Joseph's stabilized form. The effect of rounding errors to the Kalman filter optimality and the covariance matrix or its factors conditioning is evaluated for a various lengths of the fractional part of the fixed-point computational word. Main contribution of this research lies in an evaluation of the minimal fixed-point arithmetic word length for the Phi-angle error model with noise statistics which correspond to the tactical grade inertial measurements units.

Hardwarová akcelerace algoritmu pro hledání podobnosti dvou DNA řetězců / Hardware Acceleration of Algorithms for Approximate String Matching

Nosek, Ondřej January 2007 (has links)
Methods for aproximate string matching of various sequences used in bioinformatics are crucial part of development in this branch. Tasks are of very large time complexity and therefore we want create a hardware platform for acceleration of these computations. Goal of this work is to design a generalized architecture based on FPGA technology, which can work with various types of sequences. Designed acceleration card will use especially dynamic algorithms like Needleman-Wunsch and Smith-Waterman.

Návrh hardwarového šifrovacího modulu / Design of hardware cipher module

Bayer, Tomáš January 2009 (has links)
This diploma’s thesis discourses the cryptographic systems and ciphers, whose function, usage and practical implementation are analysed. In the first chapter basic cryptographic terms, symmetric and asymetric cryptographic algorithms and are mentioned. Also usage and reliability are analysed. Following chapters mention substitution, transposition, block and stream ciphers, which are elementary for most cryptographic algorithms. There are also mentioned the modes, which the ciphers work in. In the fourth chapter are described the principles of some chosen cryptographic algorithms. The objective is to make clear the essence of the algorithms’ behavior. When describing some more difficult algorithms the block scheme is added. At the end of each algorithm’s description the example of practical usage is written. The chapter no. five discusses the hardware implementation. Hardware and software implementation is compared from the practical point of view. Several design instruments are described and different hardware design programming languages with their progress, advantages and disadvantages are mentioned. Chapter six discourses the hardware implementation design of chosen ciphers. Concretely the design of stream cipher with pseudo-random sequence generator is designed in VHDL and also in Matlab. As the second design was chosen the block cipher GOST, which was designed in VHDL too. Both designs were tested and verified and then the results were summarized.
