This thesis deals with analysis of creditworthy and bankruptcy models. The aim is to analyze how are individual creditworthy and bankruptcy models able to predict problems in the company. Creditworthy and bankruptcy models are applied to 25 companies, which were facing problems during their life. These are mainly limited liability companies, but also there are joint-stock companies. A total of five sectors is analyzed. Manufacturing industry, construction, wholesale and retail trade, transportation and warehousing and professional, scientific and technical activities. Five creditworthy and bankruptcy models are analyzed: Altman model, model IN05, Taffler model, Springate analysis and balance analysis system according to Rudolf Doucha, which is used in two variants.

The master´s thesis deals with economic and financial analysis and evaluation of the MND a.s. company using modern methods and tools. The theoretical part of the thesis contains literary research, which focused on theory associated with the economic and financial analysis. The analytical part consists of company presentation, economic and financial analysis. The final part of the thesis contains suggestions and recommendations that could improve the financial status of the company.

The main objective is to evaluate the financial situation of the company through financial statements and knowledge acquired during university studies. This master´s thesis deals with evaluation of financial situation of the company CECHO - BOHUMIL CEMPÍREK s.r.o. in years 2007 - 2011 using selected indicators of financial analysis. The thesis is divided into four basic parts. In the first part there are defined problems and objective of thesis. In the second part there are formulated all necessary theoretical knowledge, which are practically used for the calculation of financial indicators in part three. In the last part of this thesis there is evaluation of the financial situation of the company based on results of the financial analysis, including the preparation of proposals for its improvement.

My master´s thesis focuses on the processes involved in conduction of overall financial assessment of the company using financial analysis method. The aim of this thesis is to recommend actions for improving the current financial situation of the corporation Alfa Plastik, a.s. The thesis is divided into four main parts. The first part deals with the general characteristics of the company, the theoretical part describes the financial analysis procedure using new findings and ascertainments from literature. The practical part analyses the financial situation of the company through application of various financial analysis instruments and the final part pursues to actions proposed by me.

The diploma thesis is aimed at creating a bankruptcy model for companies of the construction industry in the Czech Republic by using discriminant analysis. In the theoretical part, the concept of bankruptcy model is defined; this part is focused on the inclusion of bankruptcy models in economics, a look into their history, a description of selected models and a brief characteristic of the construction industry. In the practical part, the reliability of selected bankruptcy models is counted and a new bankruptcy model is built.

This thesis deals with general characteristics of financial analysis, the importance of financial analysis for financial management, an expression of financial ratios, including their systems, economic value added, and some bankruptcy and creditworthy models. The analytical section of the thesis applies selected financial indicators to interpret the financial situation of the constructional company Hochtief CZ.
