AVALIAÇÃO DA QUALIDADE DE VIDA DE PORTADORES DE ANEMIA FALCIFORME

The attention for this theme comes from the comprehention necessity of LQ of those having chronical suckness, specifically those having falciform anemy. The development of new medical technologies is helping to a better overlife of those with chronical diseases, but not necessary this overtime of life chronologically is a sign of wellbeing in general. So, from the experience mode by the Hematology Service of Clinical Hospital of Federal University of Goiás. Was made the avaliation about the LQ of 60 patients with falciform anemy. To these 60 pacients was made the Visual-Analogous Scale of Life Quality from Font and Costa Neto (1999) and WHOQOL-bref. From these 60 patients was make a interview half-struturated beside the LQ scale to 20 patients. The gathering of data was made individually from july 2005 to june 2006, in the Hematology Laboratory of Clinicals Hospital of UFG. The results point to a general loss of LQ according to a Visual-Analogous Scale Was very significant to the avaliation of LQ in general (66,83%), fallowing by Familiar- Social Dimention (60,63%). About the WHOQOL-Bref, the more significants bosses were about the Enviroment Dimentions (2,54) and Social Dimention (2,67). About the half-struturated interview inside the categories and subcategories. More frequent comes up: Psicological Dimesntion (11,20%), Etiology of diseases (6,52%) and Health Concept (5,92%). The conclusion is that because of the suffering caused by the patients with falciform anemy feel themselves in prejudice in many aspects of their lifes. / A literatura, de um modo geral, tem feito constantes referências aos estudos sobre Qualidade de Vida (QV) relacionada à saúde. O interesse pelo tema decorre da necessidade de compreensão da QV dos portadores de doenças crônicas, especificamente dos portadores de anemia falciforme. O desenvolvimento de novas tecnologias médicas vem contribuindo para uma maior sobrevida dos portadores de doenças crônicas, porém, não necessariamente esse maior tempo de vida cronológico será indício de bemestar geral. Assim, a partir da experiência desenvolvida no Serviço de Hematologia do Hospital das Clínicas, da Universidade Federal de Goiás, procedeu-se a avaliação de QV de 60 portadores de anemia falciforme. Para os 60 participantes, aplicou-se a Escala Análogo-Visual de Qualidade de Vida de Font e Costa Neto (1999) e o WHOQOL Breve. Para 20, dentre os 60 participantes, foi aplicada a entrevista semi-estruturada, além das escalas de QV. A coleta de dados deu-se de forma individual, entre os meses de julho de 2005 a junho de 2006, no ambulatório de hematologia do HC/UFG. Os resultados obtidos indicam que a perda geral de QV, segundo a Escala Análogo-Visual, foi significativa na dimensão de avaliação de QV Geral (66,83%), seguida pela Dimensão Social/Familiar (60,63%). Quanto ao WHOQOL Breve, as perdas mais significativas foram nas Dimensões Meio Ambiente (2,54) e Dimensão Social (2,67). Em relação à entrevista semiestruturada, dentre as categorias e sub-categorias mais freqüentes se destacam: Dimensão Psicológica (11,20%), Etiologia das doenças (6,52%) e Conceito de Saúde (5,92%). Conclui-se que devido ao sofrimento causado pela doença e seus impactos os portadores de anemia falciforme se sentem prejudicados em muitos aspectos de suas vidas.
