This Master's thesis analyses the tramcar transport in Olomouc with a focus on a construction of a new tram line in the district Nové Sady. The main objective is to compare the operating costs of buses and trams driven in the direction of new tram line.The theoretical part introduces the basic characterics of public transport. The future and the possible development of tram transport in Olomouc is mentioned at the end.

Les "points-de-réseaux" ont été largement ignorés par la planification des réseaux techniques, qui a souvent privilégié la circulation des flux. Ces points ont pourtant un rôle essentiel à jouer dans le fonctionnement des réseaux et dans l'organisation des territoires : ils sont à la fois des espaces fonctionnels d'entrée-sortie ou de correspondance, des espaces de services, des lieux d'interface entre réseaux et territoires, des espaces publics enfin.<br />Malgré la multiplicité des logiques à l'oeuvre dans la conception des "points-de-réseaux" (logiques d'acteurs diverses à une date donnée, mais aussi logiques successives d'un même acteur dans la durée) et malgré la diversité des sites d'implantation (dont les caractéristiques influent sur la dite conception), des procédés de régulation de la forme et de la fonction de ces points existent.<br />Ce résultat repose sur deux études empiriques venant compléter un cadre théorique proposé en première partie de la thèse. L'une concerne les points de correspondance entre autobus en région parisienne, l'autre s'intéresse sur la longue durée aux règles mises en oeuvre dans la conception des stations-service. Ces études démontrent en particulier que les procédés régulatoires, au-delà de leur variété (ils sont d'ordre organisationnel ou institutionnel ou de nature architecturale), reposent sur un principe commun de combinaisons d'éléments architecturaux structurants ou évolutifs.

This doctoral thesis seeks to evaluate the accessibility of the centre of the capital city Prague by people commuting from the suburbs on a daily basis using different types of transport and the related energy performance of these differing types of vehicle. The goal of this academic work is to propose a methodology for measuring transport accessibility by utilising energy efficiency as benchmark. On the basis of energy requirements, obtained by measurements taken during journeys both by car and bus, a method of calculating the energy demands of the two modes of transport was derived. This proposed method of measurement was then applied to journeys from selected suburbs and the results were compared. A part of this work was to propose an "energy information label" whose goal is to inform residents about the energy requirements of the various types of transport when used for their daily commute from the suburbs to the city core. It was verified that the performance of the measured units of energy required are significantly affected by another factor. The main benefit of this work is the proposal of a methodology for the acquisition and measurement of the energy performance during the populations daily commute. Another benefit is the proposal to implement an "energy information label" which serves to inform the population about the energy performance when commuting to their place of work in the city core.

Master thesis is focused on proposal of improved manufacturing process of assembly named "sandwich" produced in Iveco bus company. There is solved new fixation of assembly bench, replacement of currently used glues and material of ledge as well. In the first part there is company introduction Iveco Bus. Second part consist of construction analysis and description of present manufacturing process. Further there is introduction, solving out of thesis topics and proposal of new manufacturing process is written. At the end of thesis are attached comparison between present and proposed manufacturing process.

Le réchauffement climatique appelle, entre autres, à la réduction des émissions de gaz à effet de serre. Cette réduction passe par l'électrification du transport scolaire au Québec, une transition technologique. Il est problématique qu'elle progresse lentement. Geels affirme qu'elle est ralentie par l'action des acteurs dominants du secteur. Dans notre recherche, nous nous sommes demandé si les acteurs de l'autobus scolaire diesel résistent à l'arrivée de l'autobus scolaire électrique. Nos hypothèses postulaient qu'ils résistent. À l'aide de la perspective multiniveaux de Geels nous avons effectué 10 entrevues semi-dirigées avec des acteurs du secteur des autobus scolaires. Nos résultats corroborent seulement en partie nos hypothèses. Nos résultats indiquent aussi que ce sont davantage des facteurs de sélection, issues du gouvernement du Québec, qui apparaissent déterminants dans le succès de l'électrification de l'autobus scolaire. De futures recherches sur les transitions technologiques en transport auraient avantage à analyser les facteurs de sélection issus des actions des gouvernements, eux-mêmes poussés par l'opinion publique, deux facteurs qui se situent tous deux dans ce que Geels a appelé le paysage sociotechnique.

Diploma thesis deals with the design of the automatically controlled ramp for the boarding of physically disabled people in city buses. The initial research section deals with the regulations and directives that must be respected in the design, the issue of wheelchair mobility and the analysis of design considered elements. In the second part the thesis goes to the chosen design solution. The design input parameters are the height of the ramp cassette, the slope of the ramp when boarding and the width of the boarding platform. The platform is extended by a pair of pneumatic cylinders along with a scissor mechanism guided in a linear ball guide. The boarding platform is made of an aluminium honeycomb panel which strength is verified by analytical calculation. At the front edge, the boarding platform is equipped with a pressure-sensitive edge The ramp cassette is made up of a welded frame of steel profiles and subjected to stress strain analysis. The thesis is accompanied by complete drawing documentation.

My master´s thesis is concerned with the problems of traffic accidents involving public transport in Brno. The first part of my master´s thesis is concentrated on an analysis of the structure of the vehicle fleet of the Dopravní podnik města Brna, a.s. (DPMB). There is an evaluation of traffic accidents of the vehicles of Brno´s public transport in the second part, according to the kind of traction. An analysis of the causes of the most common accidents was carried out on the basis of the ascertained results. In the last part, my master´s thesis is concerned with a proposal of measures to reduce the accident rate.

Main focus of diploma thesis is optimalization of dimensions stated in parking norm ČSN 73 6056 Parking areas for road vehicles. Goal of the thesis was to optimalize dimensions stated in norm from 2011, eventually come up with a new type of parking space. Thesis is based on recherche, which was done on both previous and actual Czech norms as well as on foreign norms. Change in dimension was possible due to evaluation of swept paths of the individual parking slots. New suggested dimensions are stated in the conclusion.
