Diploma thesis is mainly focused on strategic analysis and its variant solutions. The aim of the thesis is to elaborate strategic and financial analysis with proposal of partial adjustments for the purpose of evaluation to 31.12.2010 for OHL ŽS, a.s. Another aim is to judge the chosen methods for sales projection in connection with variable value basis. To achieve the given aims I have work out financial and strategic analysis for objective, investment and market value basis. Finally I present summary and recommendations for the given method.

Knowledge management is a way to effectively manage corporate knowledge. Goal of the thesis is to analyze tasks and ways of knowledge management and technological means to support it and test chosen software tools for creation of knowledge base of business terms. First part of the work is dealing with analysis of knowledge management, technics and tools, which are used and technologies for its support. Second part is focused on testing tools for creation of business terms knowledge base for needs of Business Intelligence Competency Center. Main asset of this thesis is in creating comprehensive overview of technics and tools of knowledge management and proper technologies for its support and in creating desicion-making basis for company, which tool they should use to establish business terms knowledge base in their firm.

The primary goal of my thesis is an analysis of czech accounting regulations in the area of evaluation, accounting and reporting of an animals that is followed by survey of solutions used in particular zoological gardens of the Czech Republic. My thesis also contains basic informations of history, legislation and funding of zoological gardens in the Czech Republic.

The main point of the work is an identification with NPS32 expert system, the describtion of the ways of getting knowledges. By choosing a suitable district for the expert system aplication, the suggestion of the knowledge base for the district will have been the result of the work.

This diploma‘s thesis deals with the analysis and definition of the requirements for the implementation of a suitable communication and information web portal for OR-NEXT spol. s r.o., an IT business. The company focuses on the implementation of information systems (QI and Lawson M3), system integration in general and with providing post-implementation services. The portal will improve communication with customers and both simplify and speed up business processes on the management of customer portfolios and customer requirements.

This work consists in development of expert system intended for choosing appropriate method of waste processing. The software is created in VisiRule software which is built on Prolog language and is part of WinProlog 4.900 development tool. It also deals with problematics of creating of knowledge base for applications of this type and judging of suitability of possible approaches to creating an expert system for given purpose.

Origin of life is a still-enduring gap in human knowledge. This work is focused on revealing of several pieces of this puzzle. State of the art scenarios of biomolecules synthesis under prebiotic conditions are presented and discussed. This thesis presents our recent experiments suggesting a novel idea that neutral planetary atmosphere containing a mixture of neutral volcanic-type gasses (CO2, N2, H2O) can be converted over acidic mineral catalysts upon irradiation by a soft UV-radiation into a relatively reactive mixture of reducing gases (CH4, CO), which can be further reprocessed by high-energy chemistry. The resulting mixture (CH4, CO + N2) represents a common reducing atmosphere related e.g. to the chemistry of Titan, the largest moon of Saturn, as well as a possible representation of the secondary atmosphere of our planet. Also, photocatalytic reduction of CO2-rich atmosphere can explain the abiotic origin of methane on current Mars or other terrestrial planets. In our subsequent experiments, corresponding equimolar model mixture of CH4 : CO : N2 in presence of water vapour was subjected to reprocessing by high-power laser plasma simulating an asteroid impact - one of a series of impact events which the young Earth experienced during the first 600 million years of her history. New synthetic routes were designed and applied for novel bisperfluoroalkylated benzene derivatives: 2,5-bis(perfluorooctyl)benzene-1,4-dicarbaldehyde, its dimethylacetal and 2,5- bis(trifluoromethyl)benzene-1,4-diamine. Methods for purification of those derivatives were developed and used to obtain pure crystalline compounds. Crystals of the mentioned diamine and diacetal were obtained in quality suitable for RTG analysis while crystals of dialdehyde were of sufficient quality. New synthesis and purification protocol was designed for 2,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)benzene- 1,4-dialdehyde yielding sufficiently pure product, although isolated amounts are rather small ( yields about 20%) . 2,5-diiodobenzene-1,4-diamine was synthetised. It should be possible to prepare 2,5- bis(perfluorooktyl)benzene-1,4-diamine from this compound either by direct or indirect approach. Nevertheless, the syntheses were yet unsuccessful. A series of eight Schiff bases derived from 3,5-bistrifluoromethylated benzeneamine, benzylamine and benzaldehyde, and three reference bases based on thiophene-2-carbadehyde, benzaldehyde and phenylacetaldehyde was prepared. Dissertation deals with fuzzy knowledge base supporting investor’s investment decision into the photovoltaic technologies during pre-design phase, when the engineering solution is not known yet. Probably, majority of investors have particular image about the cost and risk coming from investment into the photovoltaic technologies. However, this image is limited to the restricted knowledge areas of each investor. During the period, when the investor is planning investment into the costly photovoltaic technologies at complex, vague and heavily qualified information about the conditions and risks of investment in the specific region, where the environment is constantly inconsistent and multidimensional, it is possible to solve this complex situation with fuzzy logic. This dissertation is focusing on creation of fuzzy knowledge base with selected installed projects in Europe since 2008 and its use with expert system. Furthermore, is covering the definition and description of the variables, which are included in the investor decision making process. The complete designed architecture of the fuzzy knowledge base is tuned and five projects with different size are tested. The fuzzy knowledge base consists of overall 24 variables and 187 statements.

The overall arrangement of lipids is organized and highly specialized. Ceramides are structurally formed from the fatty acid acyl attached to a sphingoid base. In minor but not insignificant amounts, free sphingoid bases can also be found in the skin barrier. Several studies show that there is an increased concentration of free sphingoid bases in skin barrier disorders, such as atopic dermatitis. Although it is assumed that the presence of free sphingoid bases affects the skin barrier, it is not elucidated the way of their participation till today. The lack of studies or their diverse results leads us to the main goal of this thesis - to clarify how free sphingoid bases influence the skin barrier.
