Diplomová práce Katedra občanské výchovy a filosofie Pedagogické fakulty Univerzity Karlovy Bc. Jana Eliášová Abstract and key words This thesis deals with the influence the pupil's transition from elementary school to secondary school in the communist regime era, i.e. in 1948-1989. The methodology is based on the interviews provided by the method of oral history, archival records and professional literature. Furthermore, the work deals with the functioning of the education at the time of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia, focusing on the elementary and secondary schools. The pivotal part of the work is based on the oral historical field research, especially from the personal experience of witnesses. For this work provided their memories eleven witnesses (10 women, 1 man), who, at their youthful age, experienced either a complete ban on studies at the high school, or their onset at the high school was complicated, due to the improper assessment from the school or the politically improper parentage. The thesis intends to reveal the ways influencing the pupil's studies or bans, the reasons and impacts of this experience on further lives of witnesses. This work is divided into three major parts. The first one deals with parts of speech themselves {--} with what they are, with the criteria for sorting them and finally it presents the history of linguistic theories, related to the parts of speech. The second one presents the progress and results of bibliographic searches, during which we were looking for czech grammar books, dealing with French. The third part presents the actual analysis of manuals, that were found, focusing on the classification of the parts of speech.

This work deals with carbon materials and using them in electrochemical energy sources. Object of this work was to prepare carbon materials and investigate their electrical properties. The theoretical part objects of the carbon materials, their properties, application in electrochemical energy sources and measurement methods used in experimental part. Experimental part describes the preparation of the electrodes with various carbon materials and summarizes the results of measurements.

Bibliographic data provide well established means of the information resource description. Nowadays, there is obvious need to make this data more web-friendly and web-compatible, while web is mostly seen as the only place where people are seeking information. The proposed solution is to change the traditional bibliographic data representation format. Semantic Web initiative presents enhancement of the current web with machine processable data semantics (meaning). The main goal is to manage more effective information processing by web applications that brings up many benefits for web users. Linked data are seen as practical means to reach the semantic web vision. This initiative promotes best practices of publishing, connecting and sharing structural data on the web. This thesis reports the transformation of bibliographic records' format in case of Database of publishing activities at University of Economics, Prague (PCVSE). Benefits of linked data publishing model are demonstrated on the realized projects. The main part describes practical experiences gained during the implementation of RDF framework in phases of data modelling, interlinking and exposing the dataset. The linked data publishing model is seen there as an optimal web-compatible bibliographic data representation format.

This dissertation focuses on the data exchange bibliographic formats that have been used in the libraries since the 1960s. There have not been many changes over the decades although librarians have been calling for them. Since the beginning of the new millennium, there has been a growing pressure for change. The aim of this dissertation is to try to summarize the activities in this field and to outline possible future development. The formats used in the past and in the present are analysed in the first part. It is possible to predict the future development on the basis of the analysis of individual projects and on the basis of surveys. The results of the analysis suggest that these activities are headed to a linked data publication model that preserves the current cataloguing procedures. This master’s thesis deals with design and preparation of a new biodegradable magnesium alloy based on Mg-Ca-Zn. Based on information from literature, the Mg-3Zn-2Ca alloy was designed. The base material was produced by gravity casting and the evaluation in the as-cast and heat treated state was performed. For preparation of the experimental material, following methods were designed: squeeze casting, hot rolling and the ECAP. During preparation by hot rolling, no optimal conditions were found and significant cracks occurred in both as-cast and heat treated material. In the case of experimental material, prepared by the ECAP method with back-pressure, better combination of stress-strain properties was observed. Also the squeeze casting method showed improvement; especially the amount of casting defects was eliminated. The evaluation of microstructure and mechanical properties was performed by the light and scanning electron microscopy, RTG phase analysis and the tensile and compression tests.

(in English): The aim of presented master thesis is to suggest the optimization of articles processing in the Digital Library of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. The present state of journal articles processing is described and the weaknesses are evaluated. The journal articles processing optimization is suggested in two steps. The first step is to choose only one integrated library system for journal articles processing. The second step is using the system of shared cataloging and the proper use of three external resources. The main contribution of this thesis is the deep evaluation of the external journal articles records resources and the process of shared cataloging. Fifteen journals were proposed to the process of shared cataloging and record downloading but only five of them are suitable for this process.
