Právní problematika ochrany biodiverzity / Legal issues of the protection of biodiversityZicha, Jiří January 2010 (has links)
Legal problems of biodiversity conservation, dissertation JUDr. Ji í Zicha, supervisor: prof. JUDr. Milan Damohorský, DrSc. Charles University, Faculty of Law, Department of Environemntal Law Prague, September 2010 The aim of the dissertation is to confront legal and institutional framework of conservation of biodiversity with its biological principles and most serious current threats, and assess to which extend are these systems and phenomenons in conformity and where eventually exist gaps and shortages. As a method of this confrontation was chosen an overview and analysis of relevant sources of law and other related information in the context of each level of biodiversity, and further in the context of several substantive and legal connections. With respect to characteristics of biodiversity which, similarly as other components of environment, does not respect borders created artificially by man, international law of global and regional scope plays a crucial role. It is valid almost without any reservation for nearly homogenous marine environment, in case of terrestrial environment some physical and geographical framgmentation can be observed and the role of particular state with its internal legal regime is more important. Individual issues are therefore primarily discussed from the point of...

Právní úprava vytvoření a ochrany soustavy Natura 2000 / Legal regulation of creation and protection of Natura 2000 networkPapíková, Daniela January 2015 (has links)
The aim of this thesis was to analyze the legal regulation of the creation and protection of the Natura 2000 network from the perspective of international environmental law, the EU law and the Czech law. The thesis is divided into five major chapters. The first chapter explains the concept of Natura 2000 and what are the purposes pursued by the system. The second chapter covers the area of legal regulation in the area of nature protection from the perspective of international law and its relationship to Natura 2000. Next chapter deals with the regulation of the Natura 2000 from the perspective of EU law. The fourth chapter focuses on mapping the decision- making of the Court of Justice of the European Union concerning the Natura 2000 network. The fifth part describes legal regulation of Natura 2000 network from the perspective of the Czech legal order.

Právní úprava soustavy NATURA 2000 / Legal regulation of the Natura 2000 systemChudíková, Jana January 2011 (has links)
114 Resumé The topic of my diploma thesis is "Legal regulation of Natura 2000 Network". Natura 2000 is a a network that seeks to preserve biodiversity within the territory of the EU. Natura 2000 was imposed by the article 3 of the Habitats Directive, which along with the Bird Directive are the most important legal acts aiming at biodiversity conservation in the European Union. The main purpose of this work is the legal analysis of the legal arangement of the Natura 2000 Network by taking the european context under consideration. First three chapters describes the concept of Natura 2000 Network and its history, including a short description of biodiversity protection within the internatinal law (relevant international agreements). The next chapter is focused on the European Union Law. Firstly, it describes the history of environmental policy within the european law and the institutions and funds connected to Natura 2000 Network. The law base of Nature 2000 network is formed by the European Directive 2009/147/EEC on the conservation of the wild birds (so called "Birds Directive") and the European Directive 92/43/EEC on the conservation of the natural habitats and of wild fauna and flora (so called "Habitats Directive"). These directives enable designation of two types of protected areas - Special Protected...

Interpretace makroekologických patrností (patterns) a indexů: jejich souvislost, taxonomická invariance a sukcese společenstev / Meaning of macroecological patterns and indices: mutual links, taxon invariance and successional sequences of assemblagesPacák, Robert January 2016 (has links)
This diplmoma thesis aims to answer three different questions. First aim of this thesis was to analyze measures of alfa and gama diversity based on Hill numbers and find out, if these measures fullfill the weak principle of taxonomic invariance. In other words, my aim was to proove, independetly of used order of diversity, alfa and gama diversity will be always lower for higher taxonomic groups (eg. genus), than for lower taxonoic groups (eg. species). For this purpose, I used direct mathematical proof, and I showed, that equations for alfa and gama diversity are both taxonomic invariant. Moreover, I analyzed one specific measure of beta diversity as well. I showed, that beta diversity of order zero may increase or decrease in taxonomic switch. Second aim of this thesis was to examine influence of abundances on visualising of preferences of species for different enviromental factors. For thi purpose I desinged new methodology based on well-known RANK plots. This methodology should filter the influence of irregular data collectioning. In other words, this methodology should consider the case, that values of enviromental factors in data are not uniform, which may result into apparent preferences of species. Moreover, this methodology is desinged to take into considerations abundances of species as...

Zpracování revitalizační studie vodního toku / Preparation of water course revitalization studyŠINDELÁŘ, Jiří January 2018 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the design of ox-bow lake revitalization measures, located southwest to the city Strakonice. Due to its charakteristics, ox-bow lake represents high-value biodiversity area. Recently, due to a disturbation in the aquatic regime, this area is threatened in sediment issue. Practical part of the diploma thesis is focused on the sediment and water level research and monitoring of plant and animal species. Obtained data result in particular revitalization measures.

Monitoring plůdkových společenstev ve vybraných tocích na Moravě / Monitoring of 0+ juvenile fish communities in selected Moravian riversGEBAUER, Radek January 2014 (has links)
Monitoring of 0+ juvenile fish communities was realized in years 2012 and 2013 in 39 localities in 25 selected Moravian rivers. It was realized in collaboration with Povodí Moravy SOE research workers. The aim of this diploma thesis was to conduct a survey of 0+ juvenile fish communities and evaluate basic attributes of these ichthyocenosis (species richness, biodiversity, equitability, abundance and domiance). Secondary aim was the evalutation od hydromorphological conditions and water quality based on data provided by Povodí Moravy SOE. This monitoring was realized using the mobile FEG 1500 electrofishing device. The electrofishing crew moved upstream using continuous fishing strategy. Each locality was selected by highly experienced research workers of Povodí Moravy SOE. Caught fish were determined immediately and carefully retruned to the stream. In total there was present 28 0+ juvenile fish species. The most frequent was chub (Leuciscus cephalus, 23 localities), gudgeon (Gobio gobio, 19 localities) and roach (Rutilus rutilus, 19 localities). In 13 localities occured the fish fry of barbel (Barbus barbus) wich is positive surprise due to its sensitivity to water pollution. In contrast the massive presence of round goby (Neogobius melanostomus) in some localities was an unpleasant finding. 4 localities were without fish fry. This survey has observed increasing trend of biodiversity depending on improving of hydromorphological status while the abundance showed almost no diference. Saprobic index of 0+ juvenilie fish community increased with deteriorating of water quality which could mean that the fish fry is relatively reliable indicator of water quality. The results of this diploma thesis could be used in documenting of Moravian streams and in comparisson with another monitorings in these localities.
