Archeozoologciká problematika eneolitu Čech / Archeozoology of the Czech EneolithicKyselý, René January 2010 (has links)
This dissertation is a contribution to the understanding of animal history and the relationship between man and animal during the Eneolithic, i.e. spanning the period ca 4500 - 2200 BC. The Eneolithic period differs from the Neolithic in more respects. Traditionally the development of metallurgy (copper) is considered as the primary cause of social economic changes; however Sherratt's theory of a "secondary products revolution" points at the fundamental relevance of a rapid change from the use of primary animal products (meat, skin etc.) to the use of secondary products (milk, wool, labour, mainly yoke) precisely in the period corresponding with the Bohemian Eneolithic. Nevertheless this theory is still being discussed and criticised and, considering possible mosaic nature of the palaeoeconomic situation, it should first be verified at local and regional levels. The author of this thesis analysed in detail ca. 49 500 osteological finds from archaeological settlements in Bohemia, from which ca 13 500 could be zoologically closely determined. Further data were adopted from publications of Czech and Moravian sites (ca. 22 000 finds, from which 11 000 were determinable). This material was subjected to detailed archaeozoological analysis with a unified methodology and techniques covering taphonomy,...

Jednoduchý textově nezávislý hlasový zámek - Softwarový systém pro verifikaci mluvčích / Simple text-independent voice lock - speaker verification software systemKotulek, Milan January 2015 (has links)
A brief introduction into biometrics is described in this thesis leading to description and to design a solution of verification system using speech analysis. The designed system provides firstly basic signal processing, then vowel recognition in fluent Czech speech. For each found vowel, observed speech features are calculated. The created GUI application was tested on created speaker database and its efficiency is approximately 54 % for short testing utterances, and approx. 88 % for long testing utterances respectively.

Akustické charakteristiky hlasu při roztroušené skleróze / Acoustic features of speech in multiple sclerosisSvoboda, Emil January 2020 (has links)
This thesis analyzes what acoustically sets apart recordings of healthy people from recordings of people afflicted with multiple sclerosis, and how this distinction can be used to automatically detect multiple sclerosis from fairly simple recordings of a subject's voice, potentially discovering early cases of this disease. Chapter 1 includes the theoretical background of the effect of multiple sclerosis on speech and the descriptions of the data, software, hypotheses and assumptions used here. Two sets recordings of read speech were used, a corpus of afflicted speakers and a control corpus of healthy speakers, totalling 250 individuals. A subset of this corpus was manually annotated, resulting in one dataset. Simultaneously, these entire corpora were also annotated automatically, resulting in another dataset, which was created to explore the possibility of detecting multiple sclerosis automatically. Chapter 2 describes the 13 acoustic parameters used in this thesis, their exact hypothesized relationships with the symptoms of multiple sclerosis and the ways they were calculated. Chapter 3 elaborates on the statistical testing of the aforementioned parameters, their interpretation, the success rate of the two machine learning models used to assess their total predictive power, and a potential way to apply the...

Dynamic Template Adjustment in Continuous Keystroke Dynamics / Dynamic Template Adjustment in Continuous Keystroke DynamicsKulich, Martin January 2015 (has links)

Návrh audio-vizuální databáze pro extrakci sekundárních biometrických a ne-biometrických znaků / Audio-visual database for soft biometric and non-biometric traits extractionHoleksa, David January 2015 (has links)
The aim of this semester project is to design a suitable database structure for the audio-visual data, parts extracted from the data corresponding to secondary biometric and non-biometric characteristics and description of these characters. The resulting database will be used for research into the identification of audio-visual content of multimedia data.
