Plán krizové připravenosti pro Jihočeskou univerzitu v ČB - Koleje a menzy, zajišťující plnění opatření vyplývajících z krizového plánu kraje. / Plan of crisis dispositions for University of South Bohemia - Hall of residence and university canteen providing discharge of precautions following the county crisis plan.

JÍCHOVÁ, Marie January 2013 (has links)
During our lives, we encounter various situations which we must learn to face so that the impacts on the lives, health and the environment can be as small as possible. One of the means of help usable for the crisis management is to prepare emergency and crisis plans. Given the frequency of natural and anthropogenic threats the planning has become an essential part of our lives. After the amendment of Act No. 240/2000 Coll., on crisis management, the obligation to process emergency preparedness plans for individual entities ensuring implementation of the measures resulting from the emergency plan of the region was updated. For this reason, I have focused in my thesis on the development of the emergency preparedness plan for South Bohemian University Colleges and Canteens. In the theoretical part, I first explained some basic terms. I continued with the description of threads and risks along with the evaluation methods. I also focused on measures to protect population which are on a very good level in CR, some of them has even become a model for the neighbouring countries. I mentioned the crisis situations that are declared when an incident event grows into a crisis situation. Then, I formulated the role of state authorities, local government bodies, security councils and emergency committees. I closed up the theoretical knowledge with the issue of safety planning which aims to reduce the consequences of situation that endanger us. The theoretical part is followed by research conducted by the qualitative form of data collection. The main question that the thesis wants to answer is: What are the risks that endanger performance of the tasks arising from the crisis plan of the region to South Bohemian University in ČB ? Colleges and Canteens? As regards the methodology of the thesis, it was crucial to gather data needed for the processing of the emergency preparedness plan, which are achieved through controlled interviews with the Director of Colleges and University Canteens, safety officer of the University, Head of University Canteen, maintenance staff and through cooperation with the ČHMÚ. I obtained other relevant information through cooperation with the South Bohemian HZS which provided the necessary cooperation needed to prepare this plan. It mainly included information needed to analyze external threat. Then I analyzed the internal risks which could interfere with the function of the entity and thus performance of tasks from the regional emergency plan. At this stage it was necessary to examine the University College and Canteen buildings. When analyzing the risks I came to a conclusion that the operation of the South Bohemian University Colleges and Canteens may be discontinued by the following hazards: natural floods (only in the case of Colleges K5 and K6), special floods, road transport of dangerous substances, risks resulting from climatic conditions (snow calamity and long-lasting frosts, storms, hurricanes, torrential rains), building fires, gas leaks (endangering the buildings of Colleges K1, K2, K3 and Canteens where gas is used for cooking appliances), power supply failure, heat supply failure and failures in the supply of food and water. The thesis findings can serve not only to deal with crisis situations but they can also be used by South Bohemian University students as a source of information or a basis for other work aimed at e.g. creating suitable conditions and environment for communication with people affected by the crisis situation who were forced to leave their homes and temporarily stay in the buildings of the University Colleges and Canteens. As these events cause pressure on human mind it is necessary to provide assistance to these people.

Hodnocení pestrosti stravy ve vybraných školních jídelnách Jihočeského kraje / Evaluation of Food Variety in Selected School Canteens in the South Bohemian Region

DALIHODOVÁ, Andrea January 2013 (has links)
These factors include also eating in school canteens. By this we understand nutrition services for children, pupils, students and other people whom this food is offered within material sustaining, full direct social security or within preventive care by whole day services or boarding services. In the interest of following nutrition doses, there has been set up so called consumer basket of foodstuffs. The theoretical part focuses on explaining of the term of school nourishment and form. The main aim of my diploma work was to appraise variety of school lunches in chosen school canteens according to months menus from the nutritious point of view.Partial targets were focused on assessing the quality of lunches according to the consumer baskets of foodstuffs and appraising the method of school canteens of drawing up their menus. In the practical part there has been presented own research and its results. The research for this diploma work started in November 2012 and finished in February 2013. Practical part of this research was worked out on the base of quality research. The choice of searched subjects happened with the aid of pure intentional research. The data file was constituted by menus from December 2012, January 2013 and February 2013 and by the consumer baskets of foodstuff for the same season. The analyses of variety of foodstuffs and was supplemented by half-structured interview.I prepared five researching questions before assessment of the research that were answered during the research. These questions were: ?Do the coefficients of variety of foodstuffs agree with the criteria of canteens? ? ?Do the school canteens fulfil the set up norms for recommended fulfilling of the months consumer basket of foodstuffs? ? Does the management of the school canteens follow the recommended principles of a healthy diet while preparing their menus? ?Do school canteens provide various structures of recipes, dishes and technologies? ? ?Can the offer of dishes in school canteens be improved? In the first part I firstly concentrated on appraisal of variety of soups in school canteens. The variety was appraised on a month bases for each canteen. Next I focused on appraisal of variety of main dishes, side dishes and food supplements. The results were registered in well arranged charts. The next part of diploma work focuses on appraisal of consumer foodstuffs baskets. The last part contains interview with the management of school canteens.I have also managed to get answers to asked research questions so I could set down hypothesis. According to the answers I set three hypotheses. The first one is: ?The chosen school canteens from South district provide their diners with various foods and follow the principles of a healthy diet. ? I came up to this hypothesis while looking for answers to researching questions focused on variety and composition menus. The answers to the research questions helped me in formulation the second and third hypothesis: ?School canteens fulfil set up norms for recommended month consumer foodstuffs basket for commodity meat, milk, dairy products, free fat, free sugar, vegetables and potatoes.Third hypothesis was formulated as follows: ?School canteens don´t fulfil set up norms for recommended month consumer foodstuffs basket for commodity fruit and legume. The management of these canteens get further education in the area according to the interviews. I think that this diploma work can be used as an information material for educating workers in the area of nourishment. The results can be useful as a source of information for workers in school canteens.

Analýza stravy a péče o dvouleté děti v mateřských školách a dětských skupinách v okrese České Budějovice / Analysis of nutrition and care of two years children at Infant Groups and Kindergartens in the district České Budějovice

KLIMEŠOVÁ, Monika January 2018 (has links)
In recent years parents´ requests have been increasing for the inclusion of two-year-old children into pre-school facilities. Due to this fact Infant Groups have started to exist. There will be an amendment of the Education Act that will come into force in 2020. According to the amendment it will be obliged to educate two-year-old children in the pre-schools. A qualitative research survey which was done by means of observations and interviews was used to summarize the results of this diploma thesis. The first aim was to compare the differences between the provision of childcare of two-year-olds in the Kindergartens and the Infant Groups. The main difference between the Kindergartens and the Infant groups lies in lower amount of children in the Infant groups. The number of pedagogical staff is mostly the same that is why it is not possible to take care of two-year-old children individually in the Kindergartens. The second aim was to compare boarding in the Kindergartens and the Infant groups. It was shown that the menu in the Kindergartens is in compliance with the Consumer basket. The menu is evaluated every month. The evaluation is not obligated in the Infant groups therefore variety of menus was assessed on the basis of repetition rate of particular meals in the school canteen per month. The boarding in the Infant groups is comparable to the Kindergartens in most categories including keeping a recommended water intake. Unfortunately, the main courses have been found severe lack of fresh vegetables in offer in the Infant groups.

Industrial Welfarism in Australia 1890-1965

Balnave, Nikola Robyn January 2002 (has links)
This thesis examines industrial welfarism in Australia from 1890 to 1965. This period witnessed the gradual spread of the welfarism movement throughout Australian industry as employers sought ways to increase productivity and control in the face of external challenges. Once reaching its peak in the immediate post-War period, the welfarism movement was gradually subsumed as part of the increasing formalisation of personnel management. Waves of interest in welfare provision coincided with periods of labour shortage and/or labour militancy in Australia, indicating its dual role in the management of labour. Firstly, by offering benefits and services beyond that made necessary by the law or industrial awards, welfarism was designed to create a pool of good quality workers for management to draw from. Secondly, managers sought to enhance their control over these workers and their productive effort, using welfarism as a technique to build worker consent to managerial authority. This could be achieved through subtle methods aimed at boosting loyalty and morale, or through more direct programs designed to increase worker dependency on the company. In both ways, individual and collective worker resistance could be minimised, thereby reinforcing managerial prerogative. Despite its adoption by a variety of companies, a number of economic, political and institutional factors limited the extent of industrial welfarism in Australia. These include the small-scale of most enterprises prior to the Second World War, state involvement in the area of industrial relations and welfare provision, and the strength of organised labour. While the welfarism movement did not reach the heights experienced overseas, it nonetheless provided an important contribution to the development of formal labour management in Australia.

Ajuda humanitària dels quàquers als infants de Catalunya durant la Guerra Civil

Serra i Sala, Rosa, 1956- 02 February 2007 (has links)
During the Civil War, the Quakers set out three objectives in their work. The points of conflict had to be detected, providing direct help and feeding the children through the canteens in order to avoid movements that would disorientate the child refugees even further. They then saw the need to focus on and organise children's holidays in the country and the mountain in order to take them away from the unhealthy and destructive aspects, improve their health and education and overcome their state of malnutrition. All the witnesses with whom I have been lucky enough to speak with were grateful. The third was to coordinate some sources of humanitarian aid from abroad through the International Commission in order to unify the work criteria, make the utmost of the resources and to best channel both economic aid and aid in kind that arrived from different countries. Their support was excellent and they saved many lives.
