This thesis examines the behavior of prices following the unexpected arrival of a large number of immigrants from Syria to Lebanon between 2012 and 2014. Using Lachs model with monthly data about prices, number of immigrants and natives, the total effect of immigration on lebanese prices was estimated. The final estimation that a one-percentage-point increase in the ratio of immigrants to natives decreases prices in Lebanon by 0,21 percentage-point, is consistent with introduced hypothesis and theory. It is argued that the reason for decrease are mainly lower immigrants wages which derive from their lower qualification.

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the current situation of organic food in Zlínský kraj region. This thesis evaluates the range of production, certain activities of eco-farmers and analyzes the current situation of organic food and the posibility of their sales in the selected region. With the use of secondary sources is characterized the state and the development of the organic subjects and then with the own survey is detected the type of stores and the sortiment of organic food and prices of this products. On an example of organic milk is described the way of this product from the farmer to the customer with emphasis on price. All findings are presented in the discussion and at the end of the work.

The goal of this master thesis is to analyze impact of shocks in oil prices to automobile industry stock prices and returns. We decompose oil price shocks on oil supply shocks, aggregate demand shocks and oil-specific demand shocks and assess their individual impacts on these stock prices/returns. This is done using the vector autoregression (VAR) methodology which allows us to compute impulse responses, that is the reaction paths on the individual shocks. In addition to linear VARs we also employ threshold VAR models in order to capture nonlinearities in impulse responses and besides the aggregate automobile stock price index we compute these nonlinear impulse responses also for some selected individual car producers. We think that this analysis have two different uses. First, it can be beneficial to stock market investors. Second, it can be used by policymakers in countries such as Slovakia and the Czech Republic, which are relatively heavily dependent on automotive industry. 1

The diploma thesis is devoted to the transfer pricing, particularly focusing on one of the transfer pricing methods: the transactional net margin method. In the theoretical part, the thesis deals with the transfer pricing legislation and demonstrates examples of how the profit transfer may occur. Further the thesis describes the transfer pricing methods and its use, mainly focusing on the transactional net margin method and its practical application. It deals with the profit level indicators and the comparability that must be followed when applying this method. In the practical part the thesis presents a Czech manufacturing company engaged in transactions with related parties. Using the functional and comparative analysis the compliance with the arm's length principle is determined.

The aim of the thesis is to approach the issues of transfer pricing, both in terms of legislation, and especially from the perspective of maker of Transfer pricing Documentation and from a practical point of view to analyze the most often transaction between related parties. The thesis is divided into four parts. The first part deals with transfer pricing legislation and provides a general overview of publicity available documents and legal regulation related to transfer pricing issues in the Czech Republic. The second part deals with general and practical look at the Documentation that is used as evidence of transfer prices for tax control. The third part describes transfer pricing methods in detail, which are recommended by OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises and Tax Administration. The last part analyzes the most often transactions between related parties and provides particular examples from practice experience.

This thesis is the theoretical part discusses various approaches to calculating warehouse and sales price as reported in the literature and other sources. In the practical part analyzes the calculation of inventory and sales prices Pierburg, Ltd. Based on the analysis highlights the positive and negative aspects of the price system used, or will be proposed recommendations for future adjustments.

Práce se zabývá vývojem cen na světových trzích ropy od padesátých let dvacátého století. V práci je kladen důraz na hlavní změny v toto vývoji a na faktory, které toto změny způsobily. V první části práce jsou v chronologickém sledu popisovány události, které ovlivnily vývoj světových cen ropy. V druhé části jsou popisovány jednotlivé faktory, které determinují cenu ropy.

The master thesis is divided into two parts. The first part is theoretical and deals with the development of tourism, business strategy in hotel trade and marketing mix. The second part is practical and is focused on the analysis of business strategy of Smaragd Hotel. Within the business strategy strengths and weaknesses of the hotel, competition, income and expenses, and marketing mix are analyzed. Based on the analysis, possible solutions of the future development of the hotel are proposed.
